My stories are posted in their entirety on my LJ. For teasers and full-version chapters (i.e. the sort of stuff they won't let me post on mugglenet) of April Rain and The Upside of Being Down, visit my LJ (at the above link). Feel free to leave comments or just ramble about your day, as that's the gist of what I do there! As always, I'd love to hear from you!
The equally long-winded sequel to The Upside of Being Down-- The World's Going to End, So Take Off Your Sunday Trousers-- is now available for your perusal at my livejournal. Do read!
~Kim

Omg... you just made me cry a little. Or it could be because i just took off my mascara and my new eye-makeup remover is fricken EVIL... but still. You are so sweet. I know you say that stuff to my face (stroking my fragile ego and whatnot) but to find you've told someone else that you think I'm a good writer is huge. HUGE like... like... well, YOU know. You do. Don't act like you don't. Because that would be lying. But I'd love you anyway. I wuv yoooooooouuuuuu Sarah-bo-bearah.... (*snork* i'm a retarf, aren't i? ah well) a;lkgjls;kgjslkjgl ~Kimmykins*

Adorable.
Author's Response: Thank you for the review :-)
Oooh... this is good. Very good. Sort of Cinderella, with a Potterverse twist. I like your imagery, your grasp on emotions, your realism-- for some reason, it made me very happy that you don't try to sugar-coat the effect his nightmare is having on Draco. He's suffering, and shows it, and that impressed me. Some people might try to merely skim over it, but you go into depth; such as in the end, when our mystery girl's father (or at least that's my deduction who the man is) watches her, and you describe his emotions. I really believed that scene. You have quite some talent, dear, and I can't wait for an update! :) ~Kim~
Author's Response: Thank you for such a wonderful review. I tried to respond last night but my comp was actinf funny. I'm glad that you found the first chapter to your liking. This is the first time I have let anyone (that includes friends and family) read anything I've written and it warms me that my first review was a pleasant one. Thanks again. J.
You're very welcome, of course! I actually wasn't prone to letting other people read my work before I posted my story here, either. I've found, though, that the risk and the feedback has given me a lot of confidence in my writing style, and also allowed for many very helpful suggestions and constructive criticism. Some of it was hard to swallow at first, but looking back, it's all helped as a result. Anyway, again, looking forward to the next chapter. I still very much enjoy your portrayal of Draco so far. He just... is. And I like that. *grins* ~Kim~
Dun-dun-da-dah!! Tis your lovely beta, here to review at last. :P Looks like other ppl are liking it, which is great! Hope that more review, because of course that's one of the most satisfying things about writing, is having someone else read what you come up with and telling that they actually like it. *smiles* Top job, of course, m'dear. Toodles,
~Kim
Author's Response: Yay Yay Yay! U did it! *dances like a maniac* Thanx a lot, my awesome beta! *hugs*
It is indeed very satisfying to read reviews, I look out for new ones every day, but unfortunately ... *wink wink to whoever (...Padma...) hasn´t reviewed yet* Aah, it is indeed so great, that i will probably post a new fanfic just because of the reviews...lol
By the way, you must be really happy, he? How many reviews did u get for april rain..must be millions. :-)
luv always,
LiliRose. xxx :-)
Your prologue is so compelling, it's already caused a dozen ideas to start rattling around in my head of what this story could be about... it was short and sweet and yet I never got the impression it wasn't enough. Signs of a true author, that. For some reason, the imagery with the pink bed-slippers just really did it for me, I am so intrigued.
Author's Response: Hee-hee, pink slipper! I hope all those ideas rattling around don't give you a headache! Wow, I have the signs of a true author, how exciting (walks around with a sign saying "true author" hanging around my neck) I hope that the next chapter is up to the standard everyone is seeing! Thanks so much much for reviewing!
*squeee* I found you! I know you said you'd posted here, but I didn't realise it was in the exact same category. *squirly fangirl moment* Ooh looks like folk are liking it so far, good for you hon! *huggles*
Author's Response: Oooh, Kimmy, look. Look at all the spaces! Oh no! Look at them! They are everywhere because it's MY WAY! *gigglesnort* This wonderful writer of TUoBD is my beta...and a great beta she is. If you haven't already, (and you love Sirius) read her story! It's fab-o-tastic! Thanks sis! *wink*
