It saddens me to have to remove the images from my profile, but an update was drastically needed.

I am a proud Hufflepuff, a former SBBC-er, and a member of the lovely group, SPEW. All of these can be found on the beta forums. I'm very proud of my participation and membership in all three and they've all helped me to expand as a writer.

I'm also exceedingly proud to share that I've won the QSQ for Best Reviewer. Well, I just don't have the proper words to express how much of an honor this is for me.

If you're here looking for something to review (which I invite you to do), I would like to request that you review some of my more recent work. While I appreciate reviews on everything that I've written, they're always twice as sweet on something that is rather new. That said, please don't review My Father's World (it is definitely on permanent hiatus) or Miss Myrtle (which exists only for sentimental reasons these days).

Other than that, please enjoy and explore my author page! Thank you!

A Tale of Two Matchmakers by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!

Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.

* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *

(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)

This may (actually, it will) sound random, but whenever I think of Luna's matchmaking strategies, the song "What the world needs now" comes to mind. I swear that I can see her walking around, looking at people, and thinking about how to create love by setting them up with other people. Now all she has to figure out is that she and Wesley are MFEO....made for each other.*

*God bless Meg Ryan for Sleepless in Seattle :D

Author's Response: Luna\'s the last one of the three to get her heart straight on who she really loves, but the wait will be worth it. In the words of Buttercup (without the \'t\', heh) Oh my sweet Wesley! =]

oh my gosh - I can't believe that it's almost over! Is it too early to beg for sequals?
Great confrontation in the hospital - - - “Wesley Roberts, don’t you dare give that book to any girl but me!” - - my new favorite line and I think I see someone's Christmas present!

Excellent job and I look forward to - yet dread - the final chapter!! :D

Author's Response: There\'s an old song \'Don\'t sit under the apple tree with anyone else but me.\' Somehow you\'ve got me humming that tune to Luna\'s line now! Good thing I like the tune. :D. The end isn\'t the end, really. The first one shot takes place in Romania, and the second is a reunion story seven years later. In the reunion story, Wesley and Terry get povs too. I thought it was only fair. :D

Sorry I"ve been a bit lax on the reviews - I've been away from an internet connection for over a week - ouch.
It's awfully interesting that the characters keep ending up at dances - not that I'm complaining! :D
I loved it when Hermione went shopping - she always does have to be in complete control, doesn't she?

Author's Response: Ouch, is right! That to me would be like saying \'I\'ve been away from oxygen for a week\' :D. Okay, maybe not *that* drastic. Food. ;)

There\'s only been two school dances. The rest were extra-curricular, but that\'s teenagers, loves music, loves to dance! (also the title of a very good Mary Higgins Clark mystery. ;)

Mixed emotions here.....:D :*(

Author's Response: I feel the same way. Yay! Happy ending, no more editing..Woo! It\'s over. Sigh.

Okay, I'll leave a real review now. :D

So good - an excellent and satisfying wrap to the story. Marisol is dead *hee hee* and Enrique is accepting of Blaise and Terry. Alright! That's an awfully perfect ending :D lovely!

Draco is such an animal :D Both a wolf and a ferret. How does Ginny cope? Only too well, by the looks of it. :)

Oh yeah - seems to me that the Weasly boys are unlucky in love. Ron and Charlie?....ouch! - but funny!

I'm sad to see this go, even if there are one shots. Promise you'll keep writing with characters like Wesley...please?

Thank you for a wonderful story - such the best.

Author's Response: She saw him in the buff, she deserved to die, plain and simple. :D Marisol thought she was a dragon lady, but had nothing on a real dragoness!

Ginny finds his animal magnetism irresistible, heh

Charlie is luckier than Ron, but then he has the emotional depth of at least two teaspoons, heehee.

I hope it will make you happy to know Wesley has a pov in the reunion one shot! Thank you for liking his character...and the story too! ♥ ♥ ♥

Sweet chapter! Romance, humor, everything! I love the interactions between Wesley and Luna...will theirs be a kissing story? I hope so!
Now I have to watch a Christmas Story again...have you ever read the book that it's based off of? It's titled: In God We Trust All Others Pay Cash - and it's even funnier (if that's possible) than the movie :D
Ho ho ho!

Author's Response: No, I\'ve seen the film a billion times, lol, but I\'ve never read the book! I should get if for my dad for Christmas. Thanks for telling me about it! ^_^

Wow...I love this chapter! My favorite part was Wesley's use of Inigo's line. "My name is Wesley Roberts. You're beautiful, and its New Year's. Prepare to be kissed." Wesley is such a great character!
Also, I went to FF.com and finally got my act together and read Simply Irresistable and Don't Call Me Daddy. I'm now starting to look upon Snape with a slightly more favorable eye. Plus, everyone deserves some sort of happiness in their lives. Lorlei and Wesley are my two favorite OCs. So, congrats on some really convincing characters!
Oh yeah...and Happy New Year!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for liking my OC\'s! If you checked out the Marauder Era cat here, you\'d find a Snape romance that might give you an OC named Eris Greyback to add to the list. :D

Prepare to be kissed is so much nicer than \'prepare to die\', isn\'t it? ;)

Aaaah! Not another cliffie....must have more. I NEED MORE!!! (uh oh....I think I'm addicted).
I loved the wizard's take on the theme park and "rolly-coasters". And My Fair Lady totally rocks!

Author's Response: Everything reminds me of a song, lol, even reviews. I had Muse\'s \'Time is running out\' go through my mind when I read your review, at least the line that says I tried to give you up, but I\'m addicted. Addicted to bad relationships, not good, but fanfiction? It\'s a good thing! :D

Sweet chapter! I'm so happy that Blaise and Terry are back together :D I also really loved the Lorlei and Snape interaction *sighs*...it's so nice to see Snape in a loving relationship.
Out of curiosity, is Scarlett supposed to be like Scarlett O'Hara?

Author's Response: No, I just used a reader\'s name who happened to be a goth chick. :D I like Snape satisfied and snarky rather than like Hook at the end of Peter Pan- \'old, alone, done for\' :( so I\'m glad you do too!

Wow...powerful chapter, very well written. Thank goodness that the Weasley's sent a private letter instead of a Howler or a *cough cough* Gusher.
You had me completely fooled; I thought for sure that Ron had owled about Draco, it made so much sense. Maybe Ron's smarter than I thought...
Thanks for reprising Horrible Hexes for Randy Roomates. I just love the title! :D

Author's Response: Ron is smarter than most people give him credit for. Dummies don\'t play chess like he can! He\'s just under a lot of pressure, worrying about his mother as much as Ginny. I should have a fake book made up with that title. I love it too, and think of what a conversation starter! LOL

Oh my gosh! It just dawned on me that I never left a review for the last chapter(s)! I’m so sorry!! *tear*

All of the stuff about hair was hilarious! I have really really really long hair so I get people who play with it and want to cut it a lot. Reading about Draco brushing Ginny’s hair would have been like a dream come true for me. *sighs*

Yay! Blaise and Terry are married :D - I knew that was going to happen eventually, it just seemed so right.

Oh, and I wanted to mention where the “V not for victory” comes from. ( I am a history geek and proud of it!) During the Hundred Years’ War between England and France, the English had a major advantage over the French. This advantage was the English longbow, which could shoot much further and at a greater velocity than a typical bow and arrow. When the French captured longbow archers, they typically cut off the index and middle fingers to prevent them from ever shooting one of the destructive bows again. Then, the French would insult these captured archers by holding up their two fingers. Thus, you have the “V not for victory”.

Also, I would really love to see a sequel with ....dun dun dun! My favorite characters, Luna and Wesley. They’re too funny/ piratical/romantic/sweet to be abandoned. Pretty please with sugar quills on top?

And in case I haven’t mentioned it before, thank you so much for writing such a fantastic piece of fanfiction. I really enjoyed the series and look forward to whatever else you write. :D

Author's Response: Yay for you being a History Afficionado! :D Luna and Wesley are in the Christmas Reunion oneshot, and if I find the time, will be in the Spanish Holiday story too!

Ah...Robert Palmer for all occasions. That makes me even happier than Princess Bride references!

Author's Response: Really? You must be a huge Robert Palmer fan! I named a fic Simply Irresistible once because the lyrics \'she used to look good to me, but now I find her *pause for drum beats* simply irresistible! :D

Even though this entire chapter was excellent, I'm still in love with Wesley. That being said....HOORAY! Wesley and Luna are dating! *does a happy dance* I can't wait to see how this works out....I'm fairly certain that it will go well, though....Wesley and Luna are perfect for each other. And the Princess Bride references aren't bad either! :D

Author's Response: Wesley is very lovable isn\'t he? Huzzah for happy dances and I think you\'ll like how the couples spend Hogsmeade weekend!

Great dream with "ape man". :D I was cracking up when I read about Colin; that role fits him like a glove!!
Draco's little speech had me crying...it was so sweet! And he did exactly what he said he would. A man who truly sticks to his convictions....
Love the subplot with Hook and Lorelei. Will Snape be her knight in shining armor and rescue her from the evil....uh....pirate?

Author's Response: Draco is a classic bad boy who is a real good man....lucky Ginny! :) If he thinks the Weasleys are the only obstacles to overcome, though, he was wishful thinking, sigh. About Hook and Lorelei, in the not too distant future Luna will have a very interesting dream about a pirate fencing with a man in black. (that isn\'t Wesley! :D)

I absolutely love the poem "The Passionate Sheperd to his Love"! Did you know that Sir Walter Raleigh wrote a reply? My favorite lines are: "But could youth last and love still breed,
had joys no date nor age no need,
Then these delights my mind might move
To live with thee and be thy love."
I'm such a sucker for romantic poetry! :D
Lucky Ron! Getting "instructions" from a girl like Blaise must have been like all of his Christmas wishes coming true at once! Now the fun part...he has to kiss Hermione before break is over! I can't wait :D

Author's Response: You and me both about the poetry! Ron\'s probably glad he\'s got \'experience\' (so much nicer than that ick with Lavender!) and something on Blaise to stop her calling him Mr. Freckles too, lol. If you want to read about Ron and Hermione\'s kiss, it\'s in a 3 part story called The Things We Do For Love ^_~

Yay for romance! You really can't ever have enough ;)
While I was reading about Lorelei and Snape another passagefrom the Bard came to mind. "For love is blind and lovers cannot see" - Jessica's famous line from MoV. I thought it might describe what the students feel about their romance :D
Also....Luna+Wesley=wonderfulness!

Author's Response: Too much romance...no such thing! Like being too pretty or too rich, hehheh. I think that line is fab and the idea of professors romantically involved enough to turn any student\'s stomach, so they prefer to not think about it! :D

Great chapter! The drama between Blaise and Terry heart-wrenching to read; I very nearly cried when he decided that they needed some time apart.
I'm almost ready to smack Luna around the head; why would she need to sort her feelings out? Wesley is an incredible guy and... bonus!...has fallen head-over-heels for her. When on earth will she realize? Also, I think that Wesley has a wonderful way with words. I couldn't stop laughing when I read, "Well, girls, I can definitely say that yes, Blaise has found the compartment." Great line!

Author's Response: Thanks for liking Wesley\'s way with words! Sometimes it takes awhile to let go of old dreams and embrace new ones...but it doesn\'t take forever. ;) Blaise and Terry will have a rough time of it for a bit, but if this doesn\'t break them up, nothing else will. :D

Oh man..that whipped cream prank had me cracking up!
Excellent chap, as usual...I suddenly wish it was really spring break for me!

Author's Response: Not too long now until spring break! Easter comes early this year. ^_^

Whoa, Hook and Trelawney....never in a million years would I have seen that coming!
I loved Luna's dream and Wesley as the pirate *sighs* I had to reread the Princess Bride just so I could get a taste of the real Dread Pirate Roberts, not that Wesley doesn't do him justice! But any classic deserves a reread.
I've had a really weird fantasy inspired by the end of this chapter. Perhaps because of St Patty's day or it's really late here, the twins strike me as leprechauns some how.
Anyways, great job1

Author's Response: Weirdly, I can see the twins as leprechauns too, but I see them as having fake beards that they pull down like George Clooney did in that film, Brother, Where Art Thou (if I\'ve got the title right...the one where he was an escaped prisoner who became a folk singer. :D)

Date: 01/17/07 Title: Chapter 28: Rollercoaster of Love

Cheers for romance! I love it when Gred and Forge get involved with things...but what happened to Alicia and Angelina?
Colin is starting to scare me; what a stalker! And then there's that "friendship ritual".
I think I have to agree with Blaise's father; the magazine pictures went a little far. I'm glad Terry didn't react to them like he did earlier. And I'm so glad that Ginny used some of her firey personality...she's seemed fairly "tame" for a while now.
Excellent chap!

Author's Response: Alicia and Angelina are post Hogwarts. In a parallel fic to this one, I had Lorelei introduce them to twin cousins...French ones, lol, that Fred and George dated for awhile.

Colin gets worse, Ginny is fiesty when she needs to be, and romance gets kicked up a notch...if I can just finish editing the chap to post it! :D
