Harry Potter and the Balancers of Death: Book 6 by jparan1

Summary: This a story about Harry and his friends in their 6th year. It take's place after JK's OOTP. THe charaters and concept belong to JK Rowling and I am just using her great works as an output for waiting for her next book.

I do think you will enjoy this story. I have gotten many positive reviews. Alot of reviewer says it reads like if JKR wrote it herself. I am not that good, but I do appreciate the kind review.

This is an action adventure, with a touch of romance. I have tried to stay true to JK' orginal works, but there could be inconsistancies. Forgive me, for I am merely a muggle.

Interesting idea. We all know Sirius was Harry's Godfather, but I didn't really think about the Potters having a "Christening Ceremony". Who is Harry's Godmother and why doesn't she want him to know? I'm sure I'll find out if I keep reading...... The converstation between Harry and Dumbledore was quite comfortable and I like the fact that Dumbledore made the trip himself in order to spend some "quality time" with Harry. Nicely done.

I think you have some good ideas. However, it was a little difficult reading this chapter because there were no blank lines (spaces) between the paragraphs and everything just seemed to run together - but that's easily fixed. Alos, please run your work through your spell-check (everytime) so that simple spelling errors don't detract from the story you are telling. I thought it was quite original that Widow Black ordered Kreacher to "cut off his head". I also liked your further explanation of curses and charms at Wizard Christenings ala Sleeping Beauty.

Loved Tonks as the DADA professor! Great lesson - her advice about something seeming too easy or just not right - that's great advice in the real world too. So Percy has moved up in the Ministry yet again and this time he has a conflict of interest. I guess he had to get his rage out before he presided over the trial! Great Chapter - as usual!
