I became a "PotterManiac" after reading Chapter 12 ('The Mirror of Erised') of "The Philosopher's Stone". I love all the books, but with some strong Veritaserum, I might admit that my favorite books are "Goblet of Fire", "Half-Blood Prince" and "Prisoner of Azkaban" ;).
I am a TOTAL, PROUD 'Harry/Ginny', 'Ron/Hermione' shipper, as you will certainly notice in my FanFic ...
And some of the stories I submitted to MNFF are also posted on Veritaserum (the 'other HP site', not the potion of course *LOL*) under my real name "Patricia" :) :)
Funny, but he had never thought of using the Invisibility Cloak in his schemes to woo Ginny.
Great job! I hope JKR saved 'the best for last' and we'll have more H/G fluff in the 7th book (because, *fingers crossed*, they will get back together!). This story was beautifully written. I particularly loved the 'Gin Gin/ Har Har' part :), it was very sweet. You should write more, I can't wait for your version of the 'particularly happy moment by the lake'. :)

Author's Response: Thank you - I'm hoping for a reunion too, but I think we'll see more emotional development out of Ron and Hermione. But what do I know, I thought R/H would happen in book six.
Great story! So sad but also so true! I must say I LOVE how you write 'Ginny-attending-her-brother's-wedding' (Ron's in "Great Divide" and Bill's in this one): her dress, he thoughts, and the way she longs for Harry without letting it show. Good job, as always! :) :)
What a wonderful first chapter! It is ... touching ... that Harry takes his father and godfather's names and disappear somewhere to find (I guess) some peace... :) What, and the other guy's name is Bill?????? Hmm!!
Author's Response: Thanks. Seemed appropriate for Harry to use those names if he was going to hide from the world. Bill, there is no significance to his name. Just seemed like a good name for a 50-60 year old resort owner in the north woods of Minnesota.
The chapter is Great, as usual! Ok, I know it's after a coma and all, but I don't like seing Harry like this... it breaks my heart a little bit :( Again, Bill is quite intriguing...
Author's Response: Well, it is supposed to break your heart as to the state Harry is in. And Bill, he's a Muggle version of Dumbledore.
'She was as broken as he was'... Now you've done it, Huskers, I got the teary eye!! This is a very different FF, and I suppose the 'relax & peace' mood of the first chapter just got us soften for the next chapters! Great job!

It is soooo sad, really, that scene Harry turned his back on her! What has Ginny done to upset him that much?? My wild guess is she had "fraternized with the enemy" to save him somehow, and he could not forgive her for that!! About the little girl, 'brown hair and green eyes'?? And Ginny doesn't know her birth parents?? Pleazzzzzeee, the next chapter!! :)
Author's Response: No, she did not fraternize with the enemy. I might be able to have her do something to betray Harry, but certainly not Malfoy. The next chapter is in the queue and should be up soon.

Amazing! I have always loved the way you pictured Lily and Ginny's relationship (they only met in "minds" but their feelings and their bond are so real and strong). The "windows" concept is excellent, and I am glad Ginny finally chose the right one. Last but not least, I loved the Ron-Fred-George-Harry fighting scene, you did a great job with reminding we're still in HP world. Hey, when you mentionned "Susan", is it Susan Bones? :)
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad you mentioned the Ron-Fred-George-Harry fight at the begining. There is so much that happens in this chapter, that things get lost. It is one of the reasons I tried to write shorter chapters for this story than in my other works. Unfortunately, this chapter kept growing on me. And yes, it was Susan Bones.
My first reaction was: Wooo Hoooo, they're married! Then Hermione's reaction just made me so sad. Huskers, you are doing an awesome job with describing how Hermione felt "betrayed" by the 2 persons she loves: first Ginny left, and let her 'pick up the pieces' with Harry, then he left, then showed up (out of nowhere) with the cause of their heartache for the last 10 years... Pfeww, I guess Hermione is the only person whose love for Harry is "exclusive and unique" enough not to blow up in front of Ginny. Great, great, great! 100/10 :)
Author's Response: Yes, you can see where Hermione would be upset. A point to make, Harry may have left England, but he never "left" Hermione or Ron. They have always know where he was, and they visit him some times. Remember, Hermione set up the guest rooms in Harry's house. Hermione's 'hurt' over Harry's marriage, has less to do with who, than it does with not being there. She was there for all the bad, and wants to share in his happiness. And yes, her relationship with Harry is very unique.
Excellent chapter again! Stephanie is such a witty, clever girl. She certainly understands more about Harry and Ginny's pain than Harry and Ginny themselves. I liked the way you "connected" Harry and Stephanie. Can't wait to read the next chapter :)

OMG! OMG! The guilt, the pain, the love... all too heavy to bear for Ginny. Huskers, you did an AWESOME JOB in bringing out the "human" side of Ginny's character. I LOVE this chapter, even if/ because it made me cry ;) 1000/10.

Wow. The "Saving Stephanie" scene was soooo poignant :) I loved the idea of Harry pouring his love for his friends and for Ginny into Stephanie. And the flashes about loosing people he loved made it even more meaningful. Now, I hope that Harry realizes why Ginny had left him... And I know I've done this before in your other stories, but you'd better get Harry and Ginny back together at the end. Otherwise ^_^ * LOL *
