I became a "PotterManiac" after reading Chapter 12 ('The Mirror of Erised') of "The Philosopher's Stone". I love all the books, but with some strong Veritaserum, I might admit that my favorite books are "Goblet of Fire", "Half-Blood Prince" and "Prisoner of Azkaban" ;).

I am a TOTAL, PROUD 'Harry/Ginny', 'Ron/Hermione' shipper, as you will certainly notice in my FanFic ...

And some of the stories I submitted to MNFF are also posted on Veritaserum (the 'other HP site', not the potion of course *LOL*) under my real name "Patricia" :) :)

Harry Potter and the Blood Traitor by Huskers

Rated:
Summary: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, a blond Weasley. It's Harry's sixth year. Voldemort is back, yet strangely quiet. A second prophecy. This is my version of what happens next. The whole book is written, along with all of year seven. I will post as fast as I can get the chapters past the moderators.

Story is now complete. Look for the sequel, I will be posting the first chapter tonight 6-2-05, and it usually takes 4-5 days for the mods to approve it. The title of the sequel is, Harry Potter and the Unlocked Mind.

Ok, I've made it up with the Voices again :) I think this is your best chapter in this story! I'm desperate for a clue, though: "His heart would waver ONCE...". Would it be in 4th year at the Triwizard Tournament ?

What a chapter! I had goose bumps, really. Wow, I am speechless about "The Unspeakables" (duh!). And the DA calling Voldemort's name was SOooo COool :) You know what, I think it's time Harry tests his skills on the real thing: Tom himself! 20/10

Author's Response: Goose bumps you say? That is pretty good then. We are going to get to see more of the Unspeakables in year seven. The DA and Voldemort's name, well if the adults in this world are going to continue to be afraid of a name like a bunch of 2 year olds, it is about time for the kids to teach them a lesson. As for Harry having a go at Tom, there are still three chapters left.

EXCELLENT CHAPTER! But, 'love triangle' is killing me! I LOVE the three of them, and don't want to see any of them left out and unhappy *sigh* ! What about bringing Ginny back in *hopeful glare* ??

Author's Response: Ginny will get her share of time. What it will be, you will have to keep reading to find out.

Well, I must admit it is FRUSTRATING to see that Ginny and Harry are 'dancing around' each other for so long, and it just took 2 small chapters to get Harry 'like' Bridgette and ready to die for her! AAAAHHHHH! OK, it may be Ginny's fault again... But be careful, Huskers, GREEN HAIR!! * LOL *

* LOL * (sorry, I posted this same review in the wrong chapter :))

Author's Response: Harry will sacrifice himself to save most anyone without thinking about it. He is not the only one who would step in front of the death curse for her. There is more than one hero in this story. Bridgette is one of those heros.

10/10 all the way! I definitely support "Ginny and Harry have a Hermione and Ron thing going on" (I LOVED this sentence :D ). Harry & Remus' conversation about broken hearts was so sweet... and, of course, PLEASE, hurry with the next chapters! :)

Poor Ginny, so 'traumatised' by what happened in the CoS. And I agree with Greta Prewett, it would be nice to know how Harry feels when he was holding Ginny *sigh*. Otherwise the chapter is excellent, and the voices were OK too! Good job!

I AM AMAZED! WOW! To tell you what part I like best would be telling the WHOLE chapter all over again... The prophecy, the ring, ... I JUST LOVED IT! I can't wait for Year 7! Yeeppiiiiiiiiiiiiii! :)

Author's Response: Glad I gave you what you wanted. I do like the ring. I can just see Ginny subconsciously yearning for it the second after Hermione puts the chain around Harry's neck after Lupin gives him the ring.

AMAZING, you're a Genius, you know that! A new chapter, a new magic trick to discover! I loved the "book", and totally agree with the importance of Blood in JKR's world. If you have not mentionned in your respond/review that Bridgette is the Blood-Traitor, I would have bet a Sickle on one of the 4 (because of the Blood Oath). Last little thing, PFEEWWW about Harry and Bridgette :) :)

Author's Response: Ok, I said you have met the Blood Traitor, I have not told you who that person is yet. Don't get ahead of me, it is all coming soon.

Author's Response: Ginny is amazing, isn't she? First the invisibility spell, then the book that saved Harry's life as an infant, and we still don't know what she did with the package she recieved at the end of chapter 3. As far as being a genius, I think that better describes JKR. I am after all only playing with her toys. Now if I had come up with this whole mess to begin with, well....then I would agree with you.

* glare * Huskers, I warn you ^_^: if the dance with Brigette was really what 'Ginny wanted', it's OK for THIS time! *LOL* Charlie and Tonks? I didn't see it coming, so that was sweet! Great chapter again. I simply LOVED it! :) :)

Author's Response: I told you, it is Ginny's fault. I had nothing to do with it.

Excellent one-shot :) Your first fan-fic, really? Wow! I especially liked the "pregnancy test incantation", very creative ;) Write more, OK?

Author's Response: no, not my first fan-fic. Thank you, that was a fun part to write. :)

The Tennessee Waltz by Ella Norman

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: *one-shot* She flitted in and out of my life for all those years, never giving in or leaving me entirely. I pried at her for years and years until she let me take her dancing. Please R&R.

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL! You actually made me feel something for Dean (!). But no one can replace Harry, of course ;)

Author's Response: Oh no, no one can ever replace Harry. He is the only man who could EVER work for Ginny. Ever. :)

Harry Potter and the Unlocked Mind by Huskers

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione struggle to fill their roles in the two prophecies. Time is growing short and the finally battle looms. Who will decide where and when it takes place? Will the foursome find the key to Harry's victory in time?

This is the year seven sequel to, Harry Potter and the Blood Traitor. Read that first, or you will have no clue what is going on in this. Now that HBP is out, and I have continued to post my story, Harry Potter and the Unlocked Mind, I thought I would take a second to say this. Unlocked Mind will not be modified in any way to accomodate any of the cannon from HBP. Unlocked Mind, while not posted, was essentially finished before the release of JKR's book. Any similarities that my version of year seven has that may tie it to JKR's version of year six are coincidence.

To say the least, I agree with Hermione being mad at Harry (showing her "that" memorie was indeed a mean thing to do!). But then, Ron said the right things again and I really like the way he "matures" in this story (are you preparing him to be the next Minister of Magic?? :))! About the Cruciatus curse, it was clearly said in GoF that there was no way to block it, and that is why it is an 'Unforgivable'. However, it is also true that the Longbottoms had no PHYSICAL permanent damage, but they just went INSANE after their encounter with Bellatrix. Does it suggest that only their minds were affected by the curse ?? Maybe you have a point about "separating the mind from the body" after all... I'm looking forward to see how you will develop this topic! Nice work again, Huskers! Keep the next chapters coming, please! :) :)

Author's Response: Yes, Hermione should have been upset. And Ron said all the right things.

Thanks for the comments on the cruciatus curse. I guess I am just going to have to live with the mistake that a shield spell cannot block it, because in my story it can. I thought it was only the Death Curse that could not be stopped with a shield spell. Oh well, what can I do.

Glad you are open minded enough to see my point about how the curse only seems to affect the mind, even though you feel like your body is in pain. It is true that the Longbottoms suffered no physical damage to their body from the curse. To me, that says the curse is playing a trick on your mind and if your mind is strong enough you can ignore the 'effects' of the curse.

The next chapter is in the queue. Big things happen. None of them are good.

Hey, THANKS for this Quidditch relief, it was great, a nice way to remember that they are young and still have to live their lives without Voldemort haunting them. The Phoenix/Dragon flight was breathtaking, and the 'memories sharing' between Harry and Ginny is still ... highly passionate ;) Can't wait for the next chapter, please, hurry up!

Author's Response: Yes, they are still kids and need to have fun. It would really be cool to share minds with someone like that. The next chapter is in the queue.

Yeah, the sequel! It was great first chapter: fun and heartwarming. A special thumb-up to what Ron said about Hermione, soooo sweet, really :). Needless to say, I am screaming "ACCIO NEXT CHAPTER" right now! *lol*

Author's Response: Accio next chapter?? Now that is a new one. And like Gred and Forge said. Ron is becoming an eloquent git. I'm putting the second chapter in the queue today.

OMG! I think you just set a record there! How many people lost their lives in this chapter (we have some names, but I guess you kept a few dramatic revelations for the next chapters :P...). The Hermione-Cho 'mental' scene was breathtaking, no less. And the race against the clock to save the other DA was brilliant, and it was touching to hear Fred and George ask for Hermione and thank her * sniff * GOOD JOB again, Huskers. It's definitely worth the effort to log in 6 times to review :)

Author's Response: There are four deaths you know of, with more to come.

I like the scene with Hermione and Cho also. It is one of my favorite in the both books I have written.

Thank you so much for loging in 6 times to leave a review. I know I have to do the same and appreciate the effort people make to tell me how I am doing.

To tell the truth, if I was Ginny, I wouldn't share either :D * LOL * Wow, the Order of Merlin, that was absolutely cool... Huskers, you deserve a special TWO-THUMBS-UP for the way you pictured RON in this chapter: smart, mature and still so 'tender'. "He is crying, if you know him well enough..." is my favorite quote in this chapter, I think it says it all: their love, their friendship and their true nature (*sniff*). I loved it! I loved it! "Weasley is our King" ... 100/10

Author's Response: This chapter was difficult. How to keep the readers attention even though the characters are just sitting around and talking. That is one of the reasons it is so short. I am glad you liked it and felt it worked well.

Snape, Snape, Snape :( I DON'T TRUST HIM AT ALL and this chapter just reminded me how I hate his guts (!) (I even dare to add that Dumbledore's trust in Snape will be his fatal mistake in the next 2 books!). And the Unspeakable is highly suspicious too... Otherwise, great chapter. :)

Author's Response: I'm not sure what JKR is going to do with Snape. Personally, I don't see how he can be a spy for Dumbledore against Voldemort. There are too many instances in the books where Snape works against Voldemort when he should be helping him if he were to be an effective spy. Anyways, you seem to not trust him or Mark. I guess you will just have to wait to see if they're ok.

What a brilliant chapter, although I absolutely HATE sad endings :(. Bridgette was indeed a hero in this chapter, I guess she endured the worst as the DE tried to gather some information about Harry (OMG!). At least, Ginny had been AWESOME, but she had revealed her abilities to Voldemort. I don't know but I'm very, very worried for her... My rate for this chapter: "O" - for "Outstanding" :) :)

Author's Response: Yes, Bridgette was a hero. Now, don't all you people who wanted to push her off a cliff when she was dating Harry feel just a little bit bad.

Ginny did refeal some of her abilities to Voldemort. He did not however, find out about her animagus.
