I'd like to wish a happy new year to everyone and, regrettably, inform you that I won't be writing a lot of fanfiction anymore. I don't have the time to contribute to it anymore and what time I do have I would like to put towards writing something original that hopefully you will all see on a Borders shelf someday. "Of the Cursed" will be deleted, and you can consider Harry's adventure to continue in a canon-like fashion from the end of "Cruciatus Cursed" onward. I'm so sorry, but thank you for your support, and I'm glad to have pleased you with most of my works. : )
Hello to you, fellow Harry Potter fans. I am Miss Moony, and welcome to my profile. There isn’t much to say about me, nor do I care to say a lot about myself anyway, so here are the important things that you might need to know for future reference if you care to read my stories:
I write only the following ships: Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks.
My favourite characters are Remus Lupin (bet you never could have guessed), Sirius Black, and Snape.
My least favourite characters are Voldemort (go figure) and Dumbledore (I have my reasons).
My favourite HP books are Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix
Patience is a virtue that I do not possess. Therefore, if I can update quickly, trust me when I say I will.
I answer all reviews I receive. Period.
If you are bored and care to read an excellent fiction, may I suggest Nuw255, Tagidi Riva, Abbs866, or weasleybabe24? They are fantastic.
That’s about all at the moment, so I hope you enjoy my fictions and that you will leave a review if you have some time. I would really appreciate it. Rated: 3rd-5th Years •Summary: Sequel to A Stolen Past. Please read that story first, as this one really won’t make sense if you don’t.
Harry Potter has rejoined the Wizarding world after a year-long absence, but still has no memory of his time at Hogwarts. Will he ever get his memory back? Will he be able to pass his classes without it? And most importantly, will he ever be able to defeat Lord Voldemort? Read on as the last of the mysteries introduced in A Stolen Past are finally revealed.
This is a story of friendship and mystery, with a healthy dose of H/G thrown in for good measure.

That horrible, little toad! The saddest part is that I believe she would do something like that. She was incredibly IC, so well done. I haven't tried yet, but I don't think I could do as well with her. I hate her too much. ; ) Amazing chapter, Nuw. As we can't review unvalidated chapters anymore, I hope it is up fast! Wonderful, suspense building, amazing chapter!

I'm here, I'm here, I'm here!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I'm late, we had practice for the musical today and I was dead tired when I got home. Now, I got the e-mail that this was up! (I loaded up on chocolate to get some energy, can't you tell?) Okay, I love that line about 'snogging you-know-who'! That was great! And I like how you had Harry tell them right away. I hated how in the books he left it for so late before telling them. Gr. I still hate Dumbledore. Does he die in this too? *pulls innocent face* Juuuuuuuuuuuust wonderin'! Anyhoo, now that this review has bounced off the virtual walls (just like me!) I will sum it up: that was an awesome chapter! Loved it. When don't I? Hmm. I'll get back to you on that. Author's Response: Hi, Moony! It\'s good to see you\'re still around and still enjoying the story. I\'m glad you liked the line about \'snogging you-know-who\' -- I\'ve been wanting to use that one for a while. I\'m still looking for a situation where it would be appropriate to talk about snogging a Dementor, but that\'s another topic. ;-)
I refuse to answer any questions about who will/will not be alive at the end of this story. I don\'t want to give anything away. All I can say is that you\'ll be floored (I hope), but I\'m not saying if that has anything to do with good ol\' Dumby or not.
I\'m glad you liked how quickly I had Harry tell his friends about the Prophecy. It\'s been quite a while since I read HBP so I don\'t really remember how long Harry took to tell them in the actual books (and I\'m a terrible fan who still hasn\'t bought HBP, so I can\'t go check). In Dumby\'s defense, however, he told Harry in HBP that he was free to tell Ron and Hermione about the Prophecy. I got the impression that he didn\'t tell him that earlier because he (Dumby) had assumed Harry would tell Ron and Hermione regardless of what his instructions were.
Anyway... to answer your question, I think the last time you didn\'t love a chapter was the last one before Christmas break, when Umbridge\'s wand was broken and Harry\'s friends seemed to have turned on him. How\'s my memory? ;-)

Author's Response: You know, I have no idea if that song was ever remade or not. I know it because it\'s one my dad used to listen to. But it seems like so many songs (and movies, for that matter) are remakes that I wouldn\'t be a bit surprised.

Author's Response: *grin* I\'m glad you like the lack of snakes. Actually, I don\'t think there will be any more snakes in this story (not live ones, anyway). I\'ll probably mention Hassseth from time to time and stuff, but... you get the idea.
I think I\'ve got four more pre-written chapters at the moment. Unfortunately, I forgot something rather important in one of them so I\'m having to go back and add it in, which is slowing me down. The main problem, though, is that I\'m at a sort of difficult part of the story now. For the most part, this story has been incredibly easy to write -- it\'s practically written itself -- so now that I\'m running into trouble it\'s tough to deal with. *sigh* I think the problem is that I just want to get to the end with all of its fun twists and turns, which makes it hard to write everything that has to happen leading up to it.
I\'ll keep an eye out for your new H/G! If I\'ve played any part in turning you into a sap, I\'ll take that as a huge compliment! I\'m sure Rivah will agree. :-)

That reporter needs to be shot. I wanted to just jump in the computer and strangle her after ripping the paper into tiny, little pieces of confetti! But that's impossible, darnit! Gr. Just gr.

Author's Response: Hahahahahaha! Thanks, Miss Moony! For the record, one of the main reasons I didn\'t make Jamison and Gibbon test their potion on each other was because I can\'t handle that sort of thing either. Neither can Snape, for that matter. Plus, those two still have to be Potions partners for the rest of the year. They have to share a dorm, for goodness\' sake! Doing that to them would just be wrong.
Sorry, but you can\'t kill Malfoy just yet. Don\'t expect his actions to go unpunished, though. I mean, sure he\'ll get away without official punishment from the school, but think about who he\'s messing with. ;-)

Author's Response: Thanks, Miss Moony! It\'s funny, I don\'t really hate Snape the way some fans do, but you\'d never know it by reading my stories. I mean, in this one he\'s a complete git (even moreso than usual), and in Magical Myths he\'s a Dumbledore-killing Death Eater. Then there\'s the Post-Hogwarts story I started writing but never posted because I couldn\'t figure out an ending. In that one, Snape almost succeeds at killing Harry just as Harry kills off Voldy. Then Ginny hits Snape with Sectumsempra and he bleeds to death. See what I mean? If you look at my writing, you\'d have to conclude that I absolutely despise the guy, when I actually think he\'s pretty cool about half the time (although that\'s more Movie!Snape).
Anyway, now that I\'ve ranted about Snape, I\'ll just say thanks for the lovely reivew. I\'m glad you enjoyed it.

Whew! I was about ready to take a frying pan and throw it at the little twit! But then I realized that I would break my computer and I payed too much for this thing to do that! That was a great chapter! And seeing as it isn't a H/G fic, there must be more to come, right? RIGHT!? Author's Response: Right you are, Moony! Much more is yet to come. We still have to see Harry beat somebody up with wandless magic, Flitwick teach a dangerous curse to his Charms class, Mad-Eye Moody attack a student (okay, so the imposter did that already) and teach folklore to his DADA class, and Snape teach about Love Potions. And then there\'s that whole Voldemort thing, too.
By the way, I was NOT joking about anything I said in that paragraph. All of that stuff is upcoming, and much more! :-)

I don\'t THINK she\'ll be getting out of Azkaban until her sentence is completed, but I reserve the right to change that decision if I get bitten by a plot bunny. To answer your other question, Yes, there is more Christmas to come.

That was a very good chapter; I haven't had time to review yet, so I thought I would. I like how Harry is FINALLY figuring out that everything the voice says is the opposite of what is true. I hate that voice. It needs to go away. Stupid, stupid voice. Rant over and here's hoping for quick validation of your most likely awesome next chapter!
