Hey, I'm the first to review this! i thought that this story was beautifully written, and I've added it to my favourites. I am a fan of Remus, and I think that he deserves a bit of romance, he is always shunned. Lily is just so right for him! On thing however, Severus hates Lily, so why would he want to work with her on a Potions project? On second thoughts, I think that he secretly loves Lily, his attitude towards her is just a pretence to save her. Why else would he hate James so much? i think that you should write more stories about Lupin, he is such an interesting character. I've written a couple about him, I think one up on mugglenet at the moment, a fic called The Downfall of Remus Lupin, about the older lupin. Check it out if you have a minute. I loved this story: it's the best romance fic I have read in a while, and thats saying something, I read tons of romancy stuff. I think that you desrve the ten I'm giving you. Well done.

Author's Response: A BIG thank you so much from a fellow Slytherin - what a compliment! I am overwhelmed! Lily had defended "Snivelous" in the books during the Marauder flashbacks, and I think she felt sorry for him. In their school days, I felt she and he could easily be paired - but in my story she did feel a bit afraid of him when his dark nature came out. He could have been torturing her too. I agree, I would not be surprised if Sev had an attraction and was angry at himself so instead was mean to her... Lupin is such a sweet character, and please go see The Serpent's Embrace - about Severus and Narcissa. Sev is my fave :-)

I like this chappie, very good. I actually read it earlier this week but because of the log in problem couldn't reveiw it. I agree, by the way, that D/Hr head boy/girl thing is becoming very cliched. Summary: Have you ever gotten halfway through an experimental kiss and realized that yes, this really was a good idea? Remember, it's the quiet, mousy ones you should look out for...

Sirius comes back from a Marauder jaunt with a sleeping rat curled up in his hair and a mood that won't quite go away.

A whiskery nose poked lightly at the side of Sirius’ jaw. Little ratty paws laid their claws lightly on his neck. Peter was awake and hoping for a little help changing back. Sirius held still and kept his breath regular. A small paw settled on his cheek. Sirius thought Peter could bloody well leave him alone and go back to sleep, since finally he was relaxed.

The pointy nose suddenly plunged into his ear and snuffled furiously, whiskers vibrating. Sirius wasn’t particularly ticklish, but everyone has limits. Sirius discovered his with a stifled yelp. “All right, all right!” he hissed, and fumbled for his wand. Pointing it over his shoulder, he performed the spell to help Peter back to his normal shape.

Summary: Per Sirius: Until of course the first full moon after that in which the lot of us woke up at the crack of dawn sort of sprawled in our usual spots around the Shack, except for me and Remus, who had in fact ended up in a sort of tangle. I didn't kiss him until the wolf was entirely gone, you understand, but I don't think anyone had ever been that close when he came out of a moon and was back in his right mind and yeah. Bloody hell. Toes. Curled. James threw a shoe at my head and threatened the hose. Bah. He was just jealous.
