I have a few stories in progress, but sticking to a story for more than 5 chapters is, I admit, a challenge. Nevertheless I'm really getting into one of my stories - a murder mystery. So for now I'm just writing chapter 4 for it and tying some plot twists around. Hopefully I'll be submitting soon :)

Wonderfully written. I like how you describe the surroundings though I feel like some places weren't important enough to be given much attention. And this is where the pace slows a bit. It takes time to pick up pace, which I think is why some people may be reluctant to read it. I myself felt a little drained at some parts. Though I like the story and you give the characters depth. And you've left us with a cliffhanger!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this. I think this is the best chapter yet. The way you describe the surroundings and the suspense is great. I find it really interesting that just because they're wizards doesn't mean they can use magic since it might be traced. Tou've left us with a cliffhanger! Gah! Looking forward to next chapter.
Hmm interesting. Though I don't think Voldemort would bother asking Dumbledore for help. But anyway, very well written as always :)

Very interesting. I like how you describe his journey, both geografical and emotional journey. Hmm... though I still don't see where Jonah's deep loyalty for Voldemort comes from. Also, I don't think he has enough hattered for Muggles (and love for his pure-blood family) to be in Voldemort's circle. He seems lost, following his master but not yet having certain beliefs that constitute today's Death Eater. I take it Voldemort first strengthens their loyalty to him, and then tries to convince them of his beliefs. But anyway, very good chapter. I go forth and wait for the next one!
Author's Response: well, more people than you have commented on this, but what they all seem to miss out on is that Voldemort is being NICE to Jonah. He\'s not asking Jonah to kill or maim, and this is the fifties. Stealing from Muggles might not seem like such a big deal for a pure-blood. Jonah is not a traditional death-eater per se. He is not with Voldemort to wipe out Muggles, and that is the case with Zutala, Chirro and McKinnon as well.
Interesting. Definitely didn't expect that. Every chapter leaves me on the edge lol. It's so hard to guess if Jonah will survive or not in the end. This story definitely has a lot of suspense. :)
this sounds original. I wonder what will happen next. I enjoyed reading the first chapter and I do hope you'll update. I can't find anything wrong with it!

There's this kind of strained suspense (that's the best way I can explain it) in this chapter. It's done so subtly. Very good character work and, as always, wonderfully written.
