Before you start commenting that the dare was unromantic, please please read the 2nd sentence of the 4th paragraph. I clearly state that "James was steeling himself to do SOMETHING HE WANTED TO DO VERY MUCH EVEN WITHOUT BEING DARED TO". In other words, the dare was the catalyst, not the cause. It only served to spur him into action; it didn't give him the intention of doing what he did (I'm trying not to give out spoilers here, so read to find out what - though you can probably guess ;)).

This was really good!

I love how you've made Neville lose his innocence with the burden that's been placed upon him. Neville is usually portrayed in fanfiction as a bit of an idiot, which I think is mostly due to the characterisation of him in the movies.

You've captured Neville's feelings about Harry really well, because I think even in canon he really seems to respect him and look up to him.

Harry's opinion on how he is very lucky is very IC for Harry, because as Dumbledore always says to him, he is one in a million to not be tempted by anything and to stay on the right path.

Finally, I like how Neville's grandmother is so proud of him. It reminded me of when they were on the train in HBP, how Neville says she'd do anything to have Harry as a grandson. You really did it justice.

ooooohhh!!! nice chappie! i don't think I've reviewed this story before, but it's really good. But the whole James/Lily, Sirius/Arielle and Remus/Nicole thing was a bit cliquey. It was so obvious. I still like your story though, I'm a sucker for romance fics, especially Lily/James ones. All in all, I love it!

This was really sweet. You really showed how the majority of the wizarding world would despise Remus because of his condition. I agree with you how we mostly see the types of girls who somehow manage to get over the fact he's a werewolf, and fall in love with him.
Only one person can do that, and it's Tonks. =)
This was amazingly well-written for English not beng your native language!
I loved Sirius' and James' argument. You characterized them so well, and it was a cute finish to a story that was otherwise a bit darker.

That was really good! I thought I might read one of your stories, seeing as your'e betaing mine! At the end where the marauders were talking to James about his kiss, it reminded me of Harry after he kissed Cho. Hmm. Coincidental? Anyway, that was brilliant!

Yes, quite a few people have told me that the kiss and afterward reminded them of the Harry/Cho thing, although I didn\'t try to do that!
