What a brilliant, moving chapter! Poor Maeve, nothing works out for her, but she should remember her father's advice. Roderick is as confusing as ever, and Dumbledore is worryingly feeble. Your story keeps moving and I can't wait for next chapter!
Brilliant chapter. I loved your descriptions of each of the characters sleeping, just a reminder of how developed and convincing all of your characters are. Poor Remus. I had my suspicions. Has he ever been with a girl? I'd never thought about that before.

Great chapter. Love the scene with Neville and Snape. You managed to find the perfect conditions for them to begin to respect/trust each other. I'm still wondering about Rampton though, why did he protect Maeve at Abbeylara? A fantastic character who becomes more complex at every turn.
Author's Response: And he's only going to get more intriguing. :-) I think he's the one character that I haven't written from their own POV because to do so would reveal too much about his character and motivation.

Wow. just read the whole story from scratch and it is fantastic. I particularly love your completely believable and subtle characterisation and atmospheric description. In the earlier chapters I found it really interesting to see the world of Hogwarts and the Order from a new teacher or adult outsider. Loved the last chapters, fantastic mixture of action/romance/suspense. Excellent story brilliantly written.

Perfect. Really encapsulated what the whole story has been leading up to. I thought you captured Remus perfectly, the precise strength he has that Kane has never had and you've given him, and us, the closure he was looking for. Really enjoyed this chapter.
Perfect. Wonderful. Amazing. Exciting and touching and humourous. I cannot begin to tell you how much i have enjoyed this story. The plot is gripping and your description is excellent, poetic at times. But the characterisation is the real strength of your story, both of canon characters and your own original characters, Reynard Lupin being my personal favourite. The interplay between characters is skillfully handled and always believable and satisfying. Your interpretation of Remus is perfect, his quiet strength being the centrepiece of the story and my absolute favourite aspect of the story.
wow great story. just read the whole thing though i really should be revising. very very clever and the tense changes worked very well. left me wanting more, esp of Teddy, are you sure he doesn't have a future you could write about?- not that i'm hinting or anything lol. looking forward to reading the prequel as well as there are still gaps i want filled. excellent stuff! 10/10
