Well, Greetings!
Not much to say about me, really. I'm a college student studying English Literature. My head is constantly up in the clouds--the phrase "I'm off in my own little world, but that's okay, they know me here" may have been unknowingly written about me. In my spare time (spare probably being the keyword) I enjoy reading, shopping, frolicking on the internet, and baking cookies. Every now and then I may churn out a new fanfic. Most of what I write here will probably be one shots because a) I take forever to write things, and therefore would have difficulty finding time to update regularly and b) most of the ideas I get for a fanfic aren't extensive enough to sustain a multiple-chapter story. Who knows though, maybe one of these days I'll feel compelled to do a full-fledged story?
Favorite Movies:Dark Knight, Iron Man, all the HP movies(not as good as the books, but is there any book-turned-movie that is?),, How to lose a Guy in Ten Days, The Princess Diaries, the Star Wars movies, The Day After Tomorrow, Saved, Batman Begins, The Devil Wears Prada
Favorite books:A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray, The Seer and the Sword by Victoria Hanley, Inside the Walls of Troy by Clemence Mclaren, The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot, the 1-800-WHERE-R-U? series by Meg Cabot, Trickster's Queen by Tamora Peirce, the HP books(if I didn't like them then you wouldn't be reading this), The Protector of the Small quartet by Tamora Pierce(I've read and all the Tortall quartets, but Protecor of the Small is my favorite out of the three so far),Teen Idol by Meg Cabot, Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine, The A-List series by Zoe Dean, Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, All-American Girl by Meg Cabot, Ophelia be Lisa Klein...I could go on forever, but I'll be merciful
Very well written! had me on the edge and all the way in! I love how you didn't try to mention any names until around the end. It added more emotion.
Yay! You're back with a new chapter! And it was as funny as the rest. I laughed my hardest at the part about Sirius threatening to make Remus go as Mrs Sirius Black!
Hysterical. I was rolling in laughter. You really posses a talent for humor! I can't wait for you to update!
You can really write angst! That was great! Very emotional and full of heartbreak! Is this the prequel to Visiting the grave?
That was very well written, and I enjoyed very much.
YAY! We finally got to hear about the wedding! Needless to say, I loved it. Combined with a lovely supply of chocolate and pepsi, this has made my day. WEEEEE! (sorry, high caffeine intake) Sirius was a very obvious paralel for Lancelot(both considered bursting with fortune in the looks department and both somewhat of a ladies man. Did you ever see the Mists of Avalon or read the book?). Good call on all of them with the Round Table! LALALA!!! K, I'd better stop with the chocolate and pepsi. Good luck to you. Take it easy, we can wait(it might be somewhat excrutiating, but we can wait).
Author's Response: pepsssiiii.........im really thirsty now.... (and YES i read AND saw the mists of avalon (i am in love with edward atterton)) and i wrote the 12th chapter and submitted (2 weeks ago TOMORROW) and im halfway through 13, but ah! but can we do? thanks for reading!! (and i love greek mythology by the way....)
Loved every minute of it(except when I realized I had no more left to read)! It was also nice to have one of your greatly done flashbacks. Oh, and the part with Sirius telling them he's their guide for the regular world was hysterical! I can't wait for the next chapter! I hope we get to hear about the wedding soon. *presents you with a large slab of yummy chocolate*
Author's Response: YUM CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *digs in with pure delightment and joy*
Well, yet again another wonderful chapter! Twas a lovely battle indeed! HeHe. Sirius was causing me to roll arounf in laughter, as usual. So, you've gotten chpt. 22 written? You seem busy. I jsut hope you enjoy yourself. We're all no doubt happy to hear of more new chapter's coming up, but I really don't want anyone dead of exhaustion in the process. And a summary with James in it! This I gotta see. Sirius and remus were hysterical, but James should definately be interesting. Hope you're minding well. *hands you pepsi and yummy french fries*(I'd give you chocolate, but I'm all out. But I personally think fries are just as good. I'm having a little fixation with french fries I guess.)
Author's Response: as a matter of fact, I'm up to 26 now, and I absolutely LOVE writing. It's such a release. Believe me, if it were exhausting, I just wouldn't do it because I'm incredibly lazy :) THNAK YOU for the concern, though!! that was thoughtful of you :) :) ppeeeeeppssiiiiiii...........mmmmm I love pepsi. and french fries. You see, how can I be exhausted when you are feeding me so well?? I mean, SIRIUSLY. And yeah, I had a bit of fun with James being in the summary... I guess, a little too much fun, it might be long ha.. (chocolate is really good, but it is, indeed not the only good thing in this world. i like pasta :) )
Dude(k, I know you're a girl, but just lemme use the expression)you really know how to give us all a cliffhanger! Now I must quickly proceed to the next chapter. I confess(wait, what's ta confess? I have a valid reason to back me up! And not like it's hurting anyone! So I'm not confessing, I'm just imforming!), I haven't had much time or opportunity to acess the internet between the whole moving thingy(I've posted more detail on that on my personal info). But good job on that chapter! I have to confess(yea, this seems like more of a confession thing now)it's among my favorites.
Author's Response: well since this is a confession, i will play the priest (even though i am a girl, as you stated so eloquently) : well, my child. you've actually not committed anything worthy of confessing. i, as some may now, am moving as well in early june and have moved many times beofre. you are forgiven for not having access to the internet, and i quite enjoyed your confession regarding my chapter. i am honored. go now in peace, my child.
I also consider that one among your best writing(mayhap even better than the previous chapter). Loved how you alternated scenes the way you did. Also, I really should say this now, before so what I'm about to say is fufilled and I leave you all wondering, all the forshadowing I keep stumbling upon might very well kill me. I don't know if all of it is really intentional, but I'm one of those people who must know for the life of them every answer, every reason, every explaination, every detail. "Why?"and "How Come ?" are common questions for people like me. Oh, and the waiting time between each chapter might also have something to do with my imminent death by forshadowing. K, I bet you're sick of reading my complaints(and their explainations)on forshadowing. Not that I'm against forshadowing, cause i really admire it as a tool for good literature and all. Wonder how many timesI can type the word forshadowing in one review. Yea, now i'm just babbling on. I'll leave you in peace now. Thanks for listening(more like reading actually)to me. K, leaving now. *hands you big thingy of chocolate for putting up w/ me*

Author's Response: HAHAHAAA i'm going to respond to review number 2, then alright? hahaha. don't worry about blabbering or whatever! i enjoy reading it all. makes me laugh. i apologize that i cant help with the chapter wait. as many of you may know, i have barely been alive on MFN for a while now. there is a very simple explanation (which i'm sure you'll appreciate, artemis, since i'm not foreshadowing what i'm doing, lol): FINALS. ug. read my profile for more angsting. anyways, i really do apologize, but since you gave me chocolate, i am happy :)
I know you're no doubt sick of me by now, but I had tp post this:I'm really sorry for my double-posting my other review for this chapter. My computer was a buthead. K, and I'm a really Dumb Blonde. Oh, and I realized i neglected to mention how amused I was reading the summary. Yea, was laughing my head off. Had it been longer, I'd have been rolling on the ground. But of course you can't make a summary that long. Then it would cease to be a summary. Or at least a good one.Now I'm going to start the babbling again. Go ahead and stranggle me now.Sorry bye. Thanks. *hands you more chocolate PLUS a Pepsi for your kind patience in putting up with my almost crossing the line on spamming*
Author's Response: not sick of you! worry not! you're not a dumb blonde. i know a lot of smart blondes. in fact, my 2 best friends are blonde, and their generally intelligent. haha, no, they're very smart, though not totally blonde. anyway! thank you for mentioning my summary! not many people do :) makes me happy :) and babble away, it gives me a reason to procrastinate on my final studying. PEPSI this time! yes! well, you what they say about red heads and pepsi....i don't think they actually say anything, but since we were going with hair things i thought i'd try. :)
Well, it's wonderful to see you again( or see another chapter of you writing in this case)! And that was a very interesting chapter. I laughed my head while reading the part where James thinks Lily's pregnant! Oh, and now I'm jumping off the edge of my seat, itching to find out what happens next. That really was one big cliffhanger! I hope you've been enjoyng the summer(I've just been a complete couch potato - except my problem isn't TV, it's books. And I'm usually reading on my bed, not the couch.). Paris huh? I'm jealous. And a reaccurence in an obsession with Christian Bale? I take it you've seen Batman Begins. It was a good flick, and Christian Bale is definately yummy. I hope they'll come out with a sequel. Was Christian Bale in any other movies?
Author's Response: ohhh WAS HE?!??! Well.... He was in Newsies - GREAT MUSICAL MOVIE YOU ALL MUST SEE IT!!! American Psycho - didn't see it...too much in it I wouldn't want to see. Maybe when I'm older. Little Women - eh. You can skip it, it's not that great. He's going to be in The New World about Pocahontas and stuff. Looks ok. He's actually been in quite a bit. A lot of independent movies. Yes, Paris was absolutely wonderful, I must say. Well worth the delay in chapters in my opinion, but hey! As a special treat, James and Lily give a nod off to my trip in Chapter 21. (YES! I DO have up to 22 written (well 22 is being written)). I have been a potato as well, also with books and, more recently, my laptop writing this story. I plan to milk this HP fix as long as possible (so BN&T might be completely finished sooner than you think). Lol, it's kind of sad that it's like "great to see you again!!!!!!" when, in actuality, all I see is your names here, but it's like seeing old friends (no pun intended) in a way. Glad you're back Artemis, and hope to "see" you again soon, bloody mods.
Wow! I think you told that really well.
I was espescially amazed with your ending. I like how you show the makings of Peter's turn of loyalties like that. It was very subtle, yet full of forshadowing.
Everything you've written is great. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: thank you oh goddess of the moon! i LOVE writing foreshadowing more than dinky humor!
YOU'RE ALIVE!! We hadn't heard from you in so long, I myself was beginning to worry. But after looking at the updates on your user info, I'm reassured. So now i've just dropped by to say "HI!" again. So, HI!. I sincerely hope ypur summer is going well. Mine just proves I have no life. Anyway, hang in there. *hands you yummy chocolate as a welcome back present.*

Author's Response: LOL! thank you! I believe I am still living!YUMMY CHOCOLATE!! so THAT is what I've been missing whilst I've been dead! YES! Sorry for the absence. Much has happened this summer, but thank God I'm back! AND updates are on there BLOODY way, I swear it!
That was a really good opening chapter and introduction! Filled with hints and a little forshadowing, which I really enjoy! I'm gonna be racing through this to find out what happens.
Author's Response: Thanks - read on!
Short but sweet. It was captivating and tied what need tying together while making me want to keep going on to the next chapter! I loved how you described Alice's perception of Harry!
Author's Response: Thanks - I\'m really glad you\'re enjoying it!
Wow. The questions are racing through my head! Again, it was an awesome chapter!
Author's Response: Keep going!
Talk about your war stories! Hehe. Another good chatper with more questions flooding my mind. On to the next one!
Author's Response: Yes - I Ioved writing his war story!
