I missed this -- really I did. Hm . . . the Philosopher's Stone, eh? Can Nicodemus make it? Or, yhr muggle studies chapter said something about Nicholas Flammel. Of course, as you siad I'm free to speculate. Awesome story! Cheers!

Author's Response: And of course there was a chapter earlier on where Perenelle Flamel turned up on Nicodemus's doorstep... ;)

Oh! It was entirely well done, of course -- what chapter in this thing isn't? But its so SAD. . . . Wonderful job, though, as I said, particularly on th characterization, but as usual the discription is lovely as well. Just an awesome story! Cheers!

(Loki gives up) She has tried to pull answers out, and she has probably come up with about half of them, but she hasn't an idea who that letter was from. Will you tell us? (Loki hopes so) Wonderful discription, though of course there isn't much else in this bit. But awesome story, still 10! Cheers!

I should have guessed about Albus. And you leave me to speculate about the stone. Too bad he CAN'T really die, I'm sure the both of them are ready for death. As usual, awesome writing! (Kinda sad getting to the end, really, especially as I've enjoyed this so much!) Cheers!

Woah! So SAD its the end. But it's such a sweet ending, too. I LOVE Nicodemus's character, and Agnes is awesome, too -- and I still think the house/Christmas elves is an awesome parallel! Round the whole thing off with excellent writers and WOW (No wonder Mugglenet made an exception for this!) I'm gonna miss it! Cheers!

Author's Response: Thanks, Loki, for all your reviews! :) I'm really glad you enjoyed the story, and I'm exceptionally pleased to see you say that you loved Nicodemus and Agnes's characters. This story was an experiment for me, to see if I could create likeable characters of my own, and keep them true to themselves for an entire story -- so happy to see that it worked! Thank you!

Wings of Defeat by LordofBling

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Voldemort has been defeated but the infamous Lucius Malfoy is still at large. Can Harry overcome grief filled memories to find him? A/N: This is my first fanfic, so please be kind.

Interesting concept -- I like the hippogriffs! I can see Malfoy being nailed as really dangerous and at large after the war, and the characterization is decent -- everyone seems IC. All in all, the only thing you're lacking is a little on the discription of emotion. so good! PS Thanks for the review! Cheers! -- Loki

Author's Response: Thanks loved your story!

The Quidditch Captain by Weasel King Fan

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry is back at Hogwarts for his sixth year and is the new captain of Gryffindor's Quidditch team. But, in his first season as captain, things don't exactly go according to plan...

All in all, a very good chapter one. Good discription, good characterization, and some action --- very good. Um, there is one small matter you should know about, however -- Lee was in Fred and George's year. ANd I hate to be nitpicky but you have a "him team" where it should be"his team". Other than that,a story with good potential and an excellent start! PS Thanks for reviewing Confessions! Cheers!

Author's Response: thanks! Also, I realized the Lee thing after I submitted, but then I thought, well, JKR never actually said Lee was in their year, I don't think (sorry if I'm wrong). They could have been friends with someone from a lower year. :)

Another good chapter, if they are a bit short and could probably be combined. All in all, though excellent --- Harry,Ron, and Oliver are all in character. Though, you spelled "purple" "purplr" once. Otherwise, however, I can't offer too much criticism! Cheers!

Author's Response: thanks, glad you like it! Yes, the chapters are a bit short, but so is the story. But I thought it was a little too long to make it a one-shot.

Heh . . . immensely funny, really --- I like the bios and can't help but wonder how badly they're going to botch the play itself (I've never actually read/seen Les Miserables, so forgive me if I sound like an idiot). All in all, though, awesome way to start!

Hermione's definitely in character, and so is everyone else! I love Dumbledore's rambling opeining, and Draco's search for his billy club. Highly entertaining chapter two! Cheers!

Vampyr by Zetera

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: A tale showing excerpts from the life of Tom Riddle as he became Voldemort, and Severus Snape in his double agent role. Both of these tales are linked by the Vampyr.

This fic is totally wrong now since the release of DH and I find it completely annoying at this stage as it was written so long ago, well even before it was published on this site. But some very nice people liked it at the time, so it's staying up.

Another good chapter; I am much intrigued by your vampyr, and what she might have to do with Tom, and the discription and language are excellent. one small thing -- before adress, as well as after, its proper to use a comma. Other than that nitpick, very good story! Cheers!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review Loki, ahm...I'm afraid I'm not too sure what you mean about putting a comma before and after an address, could you clarify? Damn, now I sound really stupid.....

Wow, and we add another piece to this puzzle of mystery. Nasce really interests me, and the whole thing youve set up about Snape's wife and daughter --- what happened to them? Awesome chapter, really, and awesome build up. Cheers!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, you'll find out soon! I'm glad the tension is working. Thanks again!

Woah! Awesome chapter. Now excuse me while I get excited that you finally updated something. All right, now that I'm done with that, you've done an AWESOME job characterizing Avril; you can certainly understand what she's feeling. And Tom Riddle is definitely in character, going to great lengths to get what he wants. No grammar errors I saw, so really, a very awesome chapter! Cheers!

Author's Response: Aww, thank you. Sorry about the lack of updates, but I have exams hanging over me. Thank you so much for such a great review!

I'm out there. Sorry this took so long to read --- on the upside, you're an excellent author already if you got me to read something R rated. Excellent insight into Avril's character there, and I think you got Riddle in character very well. Therefore, in spite of the language, I enjoyed this chapter. *hands Zetera medal for getting her to say that* Update Soon! Cheers!

Author's Response: Oh yay, I'm so glad you read it, I was worried you wouldn't. The mods said I had to keep it at an R rating, but it was just the language, nothing else. If I ever use a R rating for this story, it will only be for language/violence. Oh yay! A medal! Thank you sooo much, I want to thank my family, mugglenet, J.K Rowling.....

I shall review you! I'm sorry, hadn't checked your bio in awhile, and I didn't know it was there -- you are good. Very good. Snape has a daughter? Must know more. And the fact that you used the proper term (vampyr) has me very, very excited! Good discription, good chaaracterization, and clean grammar. In other words, good fic! Cheers!

First of all AN UPDATE! YES, FINALLY! (sorry if I missed it and it was a few days ago; I've had band stuff to attend to). Seond of all, yes, you are definitely indulging your evil side. A cliffie, and a flashback next. Thirdly, not a grammar error in site, so this is one review that won't involve my nitpicking. Fourthly, this story is brilliant; please update it soon, flashback or not! (Wow, you just got nothing but pure praise from me.) Cheers!

Author's Response: Hurrah - I passed the test! Good to hear this chapter was error free - thank you. It'll be updated as soon as possible, hopefully the flashback will be interesting enough to stop everyone from hating me! You will find out about Severus - never fear...

Enough For An Angel by Seren

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: "Even when I was little, I was slow. I started walking months later than I was supposed to, and I spent the first three years of my life babbling nonsense that no one but I could understand. It was a well known fact - Gregory Goyle was stupid. " Goyle has always known he was stupid - until someone told him there was a different name for it. Written for the Special Needs, Special Love Project @ Project Aparecium. Not a shippy fic.

Woah! Awesome story, to say the least. Definitely a look at Goyle I doubt the world has ever seen. Awesome discription, and of course the characterization was amazing -- Luna was perfect. A truly awesome fic, but wth one grammar error. Near the beginning -- the first tutoring session, I think, Luna says "Write you name" instead of "Write your name." Really, though, a truly awesome fic! Cheers!

I should've checked your stuff out before now -- sorry for the wait on returning the favor. As far as this goes -- very good. I like the rhyming, and I like the humor fit into the words -- Ron in bow? Only real criticism I can find is the capitalization errors and twice a question mark instead of an apostrophe. Otherwise, good poem! Cheers! -- Loki

Author's Response: Thankies- however i did this poem bout 10years ago, nar man i did before i knew this sit existed maybe in october, coz i remember going on mugglenet but i didnt know about the fanfic site!! lol! thanks tho!

Author's Response: Hey, i just realised who you are- your the person who's writes the Regulus stuff right?! Lol, yours are fab! And this poem is the WORST iv got on this site. my other ones are 'moony, wormtail, padfoot and prongs' n 'just a scratch' and 'a near impossible mission' dont think the last ones up yet! Anyways keep writing! and Thanx for the review!

Nice to see a OC that does not look like a Mary Sue, so kudos to you there. I like the chapter -- Lana and Julie seem very well characterized. Two complaints: grammatically, there are a few missing commas and I'm not sure "openning" is the correct spelling. Story-wise: I liked this chapter, but I think it could be beefed up a bit with discription. all in all, though, I think this is an excellent start. Cheers!

Author's Response: Thanks. I submitted my second chapter five times and it kept getting rejected for grammar. I'm glad you like the idea of the story though. Thanks for your review. ~megan

Great beginning --- Anna seems like a very real character (I remember Charles Dickens. . . . he CAN be deeply boring). The whole thing is interesting and grammatically clean, and very intriguing. I will now progress to chapter two to meet aunt Rosie! Cheers! PS THanks for all of your reviews!
