Update on August 9, '12- I have yet to start writing the fifth chapter. So that'll take some time. Okay, so, let's just admit this fic has been abandoned for now.

Update on August 9 '12 - Chapter 4 was apparently with my betas. Chapters 5 and 6 were all written but I don't have any of these now. So, again, fic has been abandoned for now.
Eventual Embrace
Update on August 9, '12- A sequel to my other James/Lily one shot: Beneath the Shell. A follow up one shot will be coming whenever. Okay, probably never.
I haven't written Harry Potter fanfiction in an age. I highly doubt I'll be writing any more any time soon and continuing these which I wrote forever ago? Don't think that's happening. Enjoy the one shots though. :)

Summary: We learn here the story of Lily Evans, a Muggleborn attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her best friend -- and secret love -- Severus Snape, has been her guide through the first four years of her magical education. However, rumors of Severus’ doings are starting to concern Lily, as she starts to notice James Potter, a Quidditch star with unkempt hair and a knack for trouble. Lily’s internal battle is heating up, as she prepares to start her fifth year at Hogwarts.

Author's Response: Hmm...guess the website I was using was wrong! No, no. Since Percy \'accidentally\' did it once in CoS, Jo kind of covered it up by saying you could take away from your OWN house. As to whether they can award to others, I\'m going to have to check my sources.

i read this one before and i think i left a review but i can't find it anywhere. anyways, this is a really nice fic. really a cute way in which james and lily ended up getting together. no offense to the authors of other fics or anything (plus i like reading them too), but they have this whole 30 chapters fic and then james and lily end up getting together. (i guess i'll be doing that too, but... whatever.) yeah, so nice fic. keep wriiting fics as good as these! =]

Title: Chapter 8: Barrier
I feel so frigging sorry for poor Sirius. You're actually making me love Sirius/Lily more than James/Lily, and that's saying something. In fact, that's saying a lot! I felt really bad when I was reading the letter. Sirius is a bit mature with Lily in this fic, and that's quite a refreshing change, as other writers tend to make him a 'womaniser', and that, i hate. Anyways, the chapter was very well written. Loved it. Can't wait to read the next one. =)
Author's Response: I know, I feel terrible for Sirius too. It seems like I\'m converted a lot of Lily/James shippers—I would really love to see more Sirius/Lily stories out there, so I hope this might convince someone to write one! I\'m glad you like Sirius, since by now I\'m struggling with not making him seem too mature, but since the reader only sees him around Lily, that\'s pretty difficult. Anyway, next chapter is about half-way written, and I\'m glad you left such a lovely review! :D
