So I'm finally filling in this bio - it's only taken me about a year... :P :)

Among my favorites are Harry Potter, poetry, writing, anything equine (that is, having to do with horses), mac and cheese, books, music, the violin, the Ron/Hermione ship (along with Harry/Ginny and Lily/James), rainy days, and chocolate. I got hooked on HP when I stole the first book out of my brother's room when I was 5 years old. I have too many favorite characters to count. I found MNFF while clicking around Mugglenet one day and have been addicted ever since.

When God gave out brains, I thought he said trains, so I asked for a slow, small one :)

In Loving Memory by PadfootBaby

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What I hope is an appropriate send-off for the loved ones we lost in Deathly Hallows. Hope you like it.
Nominated for the 2007 Quicksilver Quills!
Reviewer: fawkeshermione221 Signed
Date: 08/06/07 Title: Chapter 1: In Loving Memory

Wow. (I'm still trying not to cry). This poem is absolutley amazing. There are so many things I love about it, especially the ending. You really captured the way so many of us felt when we read about a characters death - I had to go back and re-read because I couldn't believe they were dead. I think this is my favorite part:
Because of them,
The end could begin;
Thanks to their love, the
Dark Lord couldn’t win.
That was just really powerful. I thought the entire poem was powerful. I also loved the part about Fred, that was well written. Great job. This poem is going to my favorites.
Keep writing!

Author's Response: A re-review is just proof of how much a reader liked my poem. That... or they were impatient with the \"enter\" key lol

From Under the Cloak by Prongs92

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: James Potter has just informed his fellow Marauders that Lily Evans finally agreed to go out with him. His best friend Sirius Black is feeling rather evil and naughty and cooks up a scheme to follow James and Lily under the invisibility cloak on their first date for pure Marauder fun. He convinces Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew to join him. But things don't go as planned and much chaos and unexpected events unfold...
The title was inspired by Fall Out Boy's album title, From Under the Cork Tree.

Please update this as soon as possible, I thought it was brilliant! You did a great job. It was really well written, and it made me laugh, especially Sirius - he's such a pain, but I love him anyway :) I can't wait to find out what happens - keep writing!

A First and Final Birthday by Prongs92

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is Harry's first birthday as described in Lily's letter to Sirius that Harry discovered in Grimmauld Place. Please read and review. I changed the title of this story from 'Happy Birthday Harry!' to 'A First and Final Birthday'.
Reviewer: fawkeshermione221 Signed
Date: 08/29/07 Title: Chapter 1: A First and Final Birthday

Awww..so cute! I really liked this story. It made me laugh - even though it was sad in a way, because that was the only birthday Lily and James got to spend with Harry. I loved the ending where they were talking about Harry being a 17 year old. Great job! Keep writing!

Author's Response: Thanks! I too think this story was joyful and sad at the same time, because death took Lily and James before they spent enough time with Harry or even themselves.

Falling by Wicked_Quill

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A short poem told from Ginny's POV during her third or fourth year. It is regarding her unreciprocated feelings for Harry. In my imagining this is what she's feeling around the time she "gives up" on him.

This is a really good poem! Very well written, and I love the repetition of over and over. I can really imagine that this is how Ginny felt during the time that she had 'given up' on Harry. Also, I love the ending, it was superb. Great job, keep writing!

Weasleys are our Kings! by Fading

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A half-silly, half-coping-with-last-book-grief ballad in tribute of everyone's favorite red-haired family! Written in the style of "Weasley is our King," but honors all members of the immediate Weasley family, not just Ron.

One semi-naughty implication that tips the scale from G to PG. Big, HUGE DH spoilers. If you've read DH, enjoy, and please review! (Extra kudos to those who add their own verses!...)

I love this poem! It made me giggle, although the line (about George) 'though days as one of two are done' nearly made me tear up...I couldn't believe it when Fred died...

Author's Response: I know...I know...I think I took that death hardest of all, because I was half expecting the others (Lupin and Tonks!...that tore me up, but I was expecting it...)

Wow! *wipes eyes* I loved it - I can definitely hear Lupin saying this to his son. The whole poem was beautiful, but there were a few lines that really stood out; the ending was just superb.

Author's Response: Awww... Thank you, thank you so much. That\'s one of the best reviews I have ever received. Wow.. just.. thank you, thank you so so much. I\'m glad you could imagine Lupin saying something like this to Teddy, I was a little worried that he was a bit OOC, so it\'s always a relief when you hear you did alright. Stop the Madness by Lalalalatina

Reviewer: fawkeshermione221 Signed

This gave me shivers, it's really beautiful. Great job.
Favortie part:
Here, where children cry for their
Lost parents, and I had none
From the start. I don’t belong
Where lovers grasp frozen hands and
Give into the tears. I lost that right
A long time ago. I do not belong.
Let me leave.

Keep writing!

Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked that stanza. Thank you for taking the time to review! :)

Reviewer: fawkeshermione221 Signed
Date: 06/20/11 Title: Chapter 1: Pause

I actually left a review on this fic a long time ago, but I 've just reread it and want to leave a better review because this piece deserves it. This one-shot is simply lovely; it really is one of the best fanfictions I've read. The idea behind it is wonderful, as is the writing. It flows very well- it's not too short or too long, and you express Lily's thoughts and emotions clearly and beautifully. Both her and James' characterization was spot-on; I especially liked the line where Lily talks about James "climbing up a tree before I know what he's doing". It's just such a James-ish thing to do :) The love and happiness that both Lily and James feel is clear throughout the story, but knowing that they ended up having such a short time together makes it sweetly sad and poignant.
Anyways...I'll stop rambling on about how much I love this story now, but I just wanted to let you know that it really is one of my favorites, and you definitely have talent.
