I'm just your average male fourteen year old Bostonian who loves to read Harry Potter and relish in baseball. The Sox are my team (no more 1918) but I do enjoy the Patriots. I love board games, my favorite is Monopoly but I also enjoy Chess, Stratego, and Mastermind. I love to write, whether its poetry, editorials, stories or fan fiction. "That's all folks!"
Some very fascinating stuff! You've got an excellent way with words, m'dear, your description is dazzling, and that would be an understatement. I enjoyed your first two chapters, and your grasp on Maeve is evident. Not many people can pull off the Metamorphmagus bit and still manage to stay far, FAR way from Mary-Sue-ville. She's a fascinating character. Your grammar is superb, the only mistakes I spotted were a couple of typos, nothing major. Your fingers must have slipped a couple of times with quotations, there are some occasional spaces there. Lastly, as great as your description is, I find it gets a wee bit tedious. While the development is certainly there, I'm an action buff, and I think it's time to get the action into high-gear. The stage is set, let's get this party started! Anywho, your fiction is excellent. I'm nit-picking with those little points there. Great job!
This is awesome. There are definitely some good ideas in here, keep it up.
*drools* This gets better as it goes along. Great idea with the veil, though I'm wondering whether this actually is the afterlife. Keep it coming!
I think I have an odd feeling where Harry is going... and it's not good. Anyhow, awesome chapter... keep it up!
Author's Response: An odd feeling? Now you've got me wondering where you think he is going...hmmm... Well, I hope I don't dissapoint you!
*sigh* Beautiful... I've been trying to hold back from giving you a ten, saying to myself, "only Jo Rowling can get a ten..." but, what the hey. Spectacular job. As for a sequel, if you've got an idea planned then I'm all for it; if not, come up with something new. Great job again.
Author's Response: THanks! I just posted the first chapter of the sequel, look for it soon!! It's called 'Scar' =-D
Too good... must... fight... drool reflex... lol, jk. Anyways, awesome chapter, work a li'l bit on the ol' English/ Grammar/ Punctuation skills would help but don't fret over it, get the next chapter up soon. ;-)
Author's Response: Haha, alright, ill work on the ol' skills a bit more. I hope the mistakes dont distract u too much. Thanks so much for reading!
It's... too... good! Please continue soon, I need more. *drools* By the way, what was it that the mirror did?
Author's Response: OOOOO well the mirror isn't out of the picture yet=) But originally, Petunia put a spell on it so Harry thought Sirius needed help so that he would go to the Ministry of Magic.
I think this is "bloody brilliant!" Although I would like just a bit more description in these classrrom scenes, I think you've done a great job. The writing style rivals Jo Rowling, although she would go into a bit more detail and drop a few more subtle hints. This is superb for fan fiction, get chapter eight up soon!
Author's Response: Wow, this is my best reveiw yet! I was never really sure if I should go into detail or not, afraid I might lose people's attention. Thanks for the wonderful complement!
Sorry, I originally accidentally put this in Chapter 4, because I'm trying to get used to the Review System (Yes I know, I'm a newbie). Here's the review: I think this is "bloody brilliant!" Although I would like just a bit more description in these classrrom scenes, I think you've done a great job. The writing style rivals Jo Rowling, although she would go into a bit more detail and drop a few more subtle hints. This is superb for fan fiction, get chapter eight up soon!
Definitely superb, I really enjoy all the stories about present characters. Keep 'em comin'!
Author's Response: Coincidentally, the final chapters of this story are all set in the present day. :) And thanks for the feedback!
Author's Response: Okay. MuggleNet is now closed for Christmas, which is not something I had foreseen. :D If you want to read the final chapters of this story and can't wait until after Christmas (when MuggleNet re-opens to new submissions) then you can go along to CoS Forums, where I am still regularly updating the story. New chapters are added just after midnight GMT, so December 22nd's is already there. To read, go here: http://www.cosforums.com/showthread.php?t=21219.
Author's Response: UPDATE: It's alright. The staff have been really helpful, and this story will continue to be updated here on MuggleNet. Hurrah!
Harry is seventeen years old, and left unprotected now that Petunia is in Azkaban. The war has really begun, and The order will do whatever it takes to get as many magical races on their side that they can. Follow Harry through his last year at Hogwarts as he meets the new DADA Teacher, the new Quidditch Captain, Goes on a mission for The Order, and much, much more that I won't tell you about, so that while your reading the story you can fall off your chairs in shock. Let's just say this fic is packed with action, and you don't wanna miss it! PLEASE READ AND REVEIW!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!COMPLETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome. Just awesome. Keep it up, there are no improvments I can suggest. Wonderful!
Author's Response: NO improvements?!?!? YAYAYAYAYYA!!! *does happy dance*
'Nother awesome job, as usual. A bit more description would be desired (especially during the dementor attack), but it is still extremely good. Keep it up!
Awesome. Genius. Pure genius. Reading this story has legitimately been like reading the Harry Potter series. Don't stop writing... for my sake. ;-)
"Though I have slacked off on them(e) in this story so far...I had alot more in Mirror."
No problem, the more you slack off on side-stories the more chapters there will be! lol, keep it up, it's mighty fine so far. "I'm lovin' it!"
Author's Response: Haha, thanks so much!!!!!! I'm glad you don't mind, I just wanted to indulge myself, being the writer. I really like Ron and Hermione's relationship.
*tear rolls down face* Fight it Rob, fight it... oh, heck with it! WHY DUMBLEDORE! WHHHHHHYYYY! *sniffle* *cough* *sob* *anguished crying* NO! Well, great job.
Author's Response: I know! I'm sorry! But he needed to go so that Harry can learn to rely on himself! Please don't hate me too much! Lol, just joking, thanks for reading!
Oh... my... word. This fic was so good, I feel like vomiting (not much of a complement, I know, but trust me, it is a complement; I'm feeling such mixed up emotions that I just plain don't feel good). Prickles ran through my spine during the entire fiction, it was just outrageously well-written, had great theories, and a plain good ending. I love how you had Voldemort vanquished, it is an idea, isn't it? Six-on-one, just shove him through the veil. Very plausible, I'll remember that. The best part of the fic, in my opinion, had to be the ending. Severus Snape being accepted into the after-life is plain genious. GENIOUS! Superb job, Seren, you don't cease to amaze me.
Superb job, very realistic. I feel it is an awesome job portraying everyone's personalities, specifically Remus's. That's all, nice job.
Author's Response: Thank you very much :) Remus is my favorite Harry Potter character and I didn't want to make him to have any other personality.
*sniffle* It's... too... good! One thing I might try to improve is James' personality. I definitely know he would care for Remus, but I don't think he would do it in such a "feminine" way. Not that I think he's a nice guy, I just think he would've gone about it more assertively. You hit Sirius spot on though. And Remus, pfff, shockingly impressive. Excellent writings so far, keep it up!
Author's Response: I didn't know that I made James seem that way (smacks head.) but I never paid much attention to James. I'm more of a Sirius and Lupin fan, even a Peter Pettigrew fan, but not so much into James. Thank you so much.
Oooh! I loved it. You writing style does mirror JK's very well. Work with a little description (like the Ministry owl, what did it look like?) and you'll be in the black. I really like this, and will now read chapter two.
Author's Response: Thankyou
