Summary: One-Shot, no ships, mild violence, some strong language, slight suggestion of alcohol abuse.
Sirius Black has been locked away in Azkaban for twelve years, only to escape and be locked away again in the house of his father's, locked away with only an unrecognisable friend and haunting memories for company. The memories can never be erased, the guilt can never be forgotten. But when you have lost everything there is to loose, there has to be something - someone - out there to gain.
a good friend can comfort you...a great friend can understand you...but only a true friend can bring you back

This was a wonderful story! And an interesting look at Sirius's character and what he probably felt while he was trapped in that house.
