UPDATE:

22 July 2008: It's been quite a while since I've updated this, so I'm giving it a shot, trying to do it without all the banners/links. You can, however, see all of the banners for my stories by going to the profile for my LiveJournal community, fics_by_megan:

http://community.livejournal.com/fics_by_megan

There are the pretty banners made by the artists here on MNFF, as well as those made by the artists over on TDA, since I also post my stories on HPFF.

As of today, I have 40 stories posted on this account, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. (Even with starting university in a few months.) Another one-shot, as a matter of fact, is with betas right now.

Lately, I've fallen in love with reading and writing Sirius/Hermione stories, although of course, my current WIPs are still, definitely, being worked on.

~*~*~*~*~

Hello. The name is Megan, and the age is 19 (though I'll be 20 quite soon).

My Award-Winning Stories:

-- Thousands Say Farewell (Third)
-- Are You Brave Enough? (Second)
-- Fortune Favours the Brave (First)
-- Messages of Heart and Mind (Honourable Mention)
-- Recolitus Optimus (First)
-- Never Leave You (Second)
-- Adoris Integare (First)
-- Justify (Third)

My Upcoming/Planned Stories:

1) "Untitled": a chaptered fic, it'll be the largest part that tells the overal story that I have planned for Sirius and Hermione. Both "Come Back To Me" and "Watching Him Remember" are parts of this story, and there are hints in both of them about the overall mystery, but it's in this longer fic that everything will be told. [Expected Release: TBA]

2) "Once Upon a Time": a short story, this is another Sirius/Hermione story that's being planned out right now. It's written in response to a challenge given over on the HPFF forums. And of course, it will star Sirius Black and Hermione Granger. [Expected Release: TBA]

3) "Untitled": a short story, this is an idea that's been in my head for ages, though I haven't gone much further with it than dwelling on the basic plot. Will be an Alternate Universe fic, using canon up until around mid-OotP. Mainly starring Sirius Black and Lord Voldemort, with plenty of appearances by the other characters of the books. [Expected Release: TBA]

4) "Caught": a one-shot, it will be the sequel to "Brothers", and will basically pick up right where that one left off. Currently in the planning stages, and starring Sirius Black. [Expected Release: TBA]

Messages of Heart and Mind by megan_lupin

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: “So how could it have gone so wrong? How could such friendships fail?” ~The Sorting Hat

Everyone knows the story of the Four Founders of Hogwarts; the tales of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin are legendary. But did everything happen in the same way that it has always been told? Did Salazar Slytherin leave strictly because of differences concerning the purity of blood? Did friendships suffer and fail because of arguments concerning the running and ruling of Hogwarts? Or was there another reason? Could the story of a romantic relationship between two of the four friends have been lost to time? And did such an event cause more damage to the school than the beliefs in blood?

Nearing the end of his final year at Hogwarts, the young, aristocratic Slytherin chooses to embark on a path his father has tread. Sneaking out of the school under the eyes of that Mudblood-loving headmaster, Lucius goes to join Dumbledore's enemy -- the Dark Lord Voldemort.

Harry Potter and the Locked Door by megan_lupin

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry ended in a tragic event. A headmaster and well-respected wizard was killed by the very man in whom he had placed his trust. This story begins during the latter part of the Boy Who Lived's sixth year, and it will follow Harry, as well as the entire Wizarding World, through Harry's seventh year and the Second War. The Order of the Phoenix struggles to overcome the loss of their leader and the harsh sting of betrayal, while Lord Voldemort has continued to grow in power and strength, and Wizarding Britain is on the brink of collapsing into darkness.

Harry sets out on the path he chose, seeking the four Horcruxes that still remain in the world, and the story will culminate in the final and climactic battle between the forces of good and evil, where death, loss, betrayal, and the overwhelming strength of love and friendship abound. After so many years of terror and war, who will be victorious in the end -- Harry Potter ... or Lord Voldemort?

As of 25 July 2007, this story will NOT be compliant with canon in Book 7: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I will be sticking to my own plot line, and it will only connect with DH if the two happen to overlap.

Selena's Choice by megan_lupin

What if doing the right thing wasn’t as simple as everyone thought? What if there was no such thing as an easy choice? What if both answers to a dilemma led you down a path that isn’t right or easy? Selena Rosa struggles with making just such a choice, a choice where neither path seems right. What will she ultimately choose?
