Hello!

I'm Pooja, a twenty-two year-old Indian. I'm a die-hard fan of Harry Potter, a Shahid Kapoor Varun Dhawan lover, and very proud Hufflepuff.

I'm in Med college now, and I stay away from home. I really hope to continue writing even after I become a doctor. :)

I'm fond of reading, singing and six years ago, I discovered my fondness for fanfiction writing too. I'm much better now than I was when I came here, but I still think there's much room for improvement as far as my writing is concerned.

My all-time OTP is Ron/Hermione. I love this couple to death, even with my limited number of stories about them.

I am slowly starting to try stuff I've never tried writing before. I find that I quite enjoy writing slash these days.

Anyway, here are some of my stories, sorted out for you:

SERIES

I've got two series out here. The first one is a trio era series (though the sequel to the first novel is OC based) and the second one is next-gen. Here's some information about these:

1. TRIO ERA (PRE-DH)

Ha! I don't have a name for this one. I think I should come up with one soon, though. This series is COMPLETE.

Killer Instincts: Complete, with H/G and R/Hr as the primary ships.

Where Are You? Complete. This is the sequel to KI but it only follows my OCs from Killer Instincts-- Daisy, Chris, Cheryl and Pari. Yes, it's a completely OC based story.

Companion fics (one-shots, all featuring Anurag Krishnan):
a. Mum's the World (pre-WAY)
b. Face Value (pre-WAY)
c. At the End of the Tunnel (post-WAY)

2. TRIO ERA SERIES (POST-DH)
This is a recent series of mine and it complies with DH, as opposed to the Killer Instincts series.

Plum Cake: This takes place during DH. It's Hermione's birthday in 1997, and the trio is camping.

Ready or Not: H/G + R/Hr, and I'm currently writing this fic. It's going to be novel-length. It's a romantic mystery. :)

Lilttle Angel Wings R/Hr story, depicting their marital problems. Complete.

3. YEARS FIVE AND SIX: SCORPIUS MALFOY, ROSE WEASLEY AND ALBUS POTTER

Black With a Hint of Red A mystery novella which was written for a challenge. I must say, I'm rather proud of this one!

Transcendent Affection: The sequel to BWHR, with a few other twists. This is a mystery too.

4. ROSE AND SCORPIUS SERIES

His Hero: Rose/Scorpius one-shot.

I Know Why You Smile: Scorpius and Rose encounter some relationship problems. (Scorpius/ Rose and Scorpius/Victoire)

CHAPTERED STORIES

Coup de grace: Incomplete, on an indefinite hiatus but I don't think I'd label it 'ababdoned' YET.

When the Rose Fell: I'm co-authoring this with my sis, Nadia/majestic_ginny. It's a Scorose. :)

ONE-SHOTS

There are some really old ones here and that is not what I write like now. :p

Trio Era:

Plum Cake (R/Hr)

A Stolen Kiss (Cedric/Penelope)

It's Called Sweet Vengeance (R/Hr)

The Champion (Cedric Diggory)

Flawed (Padma/OC)

The Crush (Seamus/Lavender)

Inside Out (Padma/Penelope)

Older fics--

Inanity Over a Hairstyle (Ginny)

Next-Gen

Battered Heart (Hugo/OC)

Testimony (Scorpius/Hugo)

His Hero (Scorpius/Rose)

Cold Feet (Scorpius/ Hugo)

Eastern Dawn Stars (Scorpius/ OC)

The Maimed Reflection (Albus Potter)

Miscellaneous:

Mum's the World (Anurag Krishnan-- my OC)

Sapphires (Various Pairings)

Rubies (Sequel to Sapphires, various pairings)

Princess (written for an OC challenge, Dark/Angst)

Face Value (Sequel to 'Mum's the World, Anurag Krishnan, other pairings

At the End of the Tunnel (Anurag Krishnan, spoils Where Are You?)

POETRY

Now, I haven't got very good stuff here. My best is 'While He Leaves'. The rest probably aren't even poetry with the haphazardly fashion that they've been written in. Anyway--

While He Leaves (R/Hr)

Fun in the Romantic Rain (R/Hr)

Cold Feet by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: Professors •
Summary: We all know who we are. We have a mental definition of ourselves that we do not really like to change. But sometimes, small things, insignificant little snippets of incidents can change the way we look at ourselves. We may realise that we aren’t who we thought we were. Then we get cold feet. And this could be due to anything: even a cold foot running up yours on a juvenile dare.

The Crush by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Not all of us experience true love, but crushes are an inevitable part of life. Unfortunately, crushes are often mistaken for love. But really, how different is actual love from plain infatuation?

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff house, writing for the Great Hall Cotillion. The pairing I’ve written about is Seamus/Lavender.

Flawed by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Nobody is perfect; every human being has his or her own set of imperfections, be it physical or otherwise. They say that the beautiful full moon has spots too. But isn’t that saying designed to pacify people about their imperfections?

They say love is all about acceptance and compatibility; that when two people fall in love, one person’s shortcomings are covered for by the other person, and vice-versa. But love is not just that. It is much more. It is bigger and better-- because sometimes, even when we cannot cover up for the limitations of the ones we love, we accept the flaws as endearing and are ready to live with them for the rest of our lives.

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff, writing for the Great Hall Cotillion. The Pairing I’ve chosen is Padma Patil/ Original Character 2.

Mum's the World by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Anurag Krishnan, tall, dark and charming is an impossible young man who is of the opinion that the world revolves around him and his thoughts and that no one ever cares enough for him. There is nothing he can’t question; nothing he can’t doubt and lately, he feels that his parents themselves might have underestimated him somewhere.

However, an unexpected visit to an unknown past changes it all and in a matter of hours, Anurag changes from an immature, brash boy to a more accepting, calmer young man. So what was the secret that changed him? What was this memory of his, which despite being tucked away in the deepest pit of his brain caused him to come out and grow up?

Testimony by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Sometimes, things happen. Things that you don’t want to look back at: things you never want to face again. But sometimes, the events of the past just present themselves before you unexpectedly, throwing themselves at you and threatening to haunt you forever…

So what will Hugo Weasley do, when he is faced with one such situation? What is the right option: flight or fight? And most importantly, does Hugo even have a choice?

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff, writing for the Great Hall Cotillion.

While He Leaves by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry stood quite still and silent, listening to her sobbing and calling Ron’s name amongst the trees.— Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by JK Rowling

We know everything about how Harry felt when Ron left him and Hermione in the forest after the huge fight with Harry on that fateful day. But what was the situation in Ron and Hermione’s minds? How could it be from their points of view?

Black With a Hint of Red by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Love is a very bizarre form of emotion. People can die for it. People can kill for it…

Rose Weasley is in her fifth year at Hogwarts. Love is in the air, but so is exam fever; and Hogwarts is heavy with a weird combination of nervous cheesiness. But isn’t this the story every year? It’s normal. It’s right.

And then everything goes wrong.

A student— Rose’s classmate dies tragically and unexpectedly one day. The death sends shock waves through Rose and her friends, staggering them to a great extent. Furthermore, investigations conducted by Rose’s Uncle Harry reveal a startling piece of information, placing everybody in even more shock. The death is, in fact homicide— and homicide committed by a student. Soon enough, Relationships are strained, faiths are broken and hatred is intensified. That is when Rose realises that she is not prepared to face any of it; and all she craves is for things to be the way they were before the tragedy…

This is a story about how love can make people cross the limits they never knew... a story of how love combined with obsession, deceit and jealousy can be as destructive of hatred.

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff writing for the 2011 Mysterious May Challenge in the Great Hall, Prompt #2— The Trained Professional. I have moved this story into the next-gen category, because I feel it fits in better there.

The Champion by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: ‘Strong and silent’ Cedric Diggory recollects some of his past on the day of the final Triwizard task. So what insecurities are hidden below that handsome exterior? What imperfections could the ‘perfect’ Cedric Diggory probably have? After all, every human being has hopes and fears… as well as bad memories.

This is Cedric’s journey through the last day of his life right up to his very last second. Had he seen it all coming? Had somebody warned him? And why had he entered the Triwizard Tournament anyway— is there a story behind that too?

I am Ginny Weasley Potter and this is my submission for the First Hufflepuff Drabblethon.

It's Called Sweet Vengeance by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A few months past the defeat of Voldemort, it’s a normal day for Harry, Ron and Hermione. Following the war, everything is pretty much fine and everyone is living life quite normally.

But how much has the ‘dust settled’, really? After all, there are people out there still waiting to seek revenge for the fall of the Dark Lord. And Harry, Ron and Hermione obviously have had everything to do with the death of Voldemort…

Some silliness, a bit of Firewhiskey, a few drunken kisses… all of it seems to be a part of the agenda as Harry, Ron and Hermione face their past once again, unprepared for any of it this time. Will they win, or will they be caught unawares?

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff writing for the 2011 Aprils Fools' Day Challenge in the Great Hall, Prompt #3— Lonely Lists (the Trio Era). Disclaimer: I'm, not JK Rowling. I'm just having fun with her characters! :)

Killer Instincts by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: London: Four murders have taken place under bizarre circumstances, for what seems to be an equally bizarre reason.

Harry, a happily wedded man with a wonderful wife and a cute daughter, is an Auror at the Ministry of Magic and is now given a new case to solve with Ron and four other Aurors. Incidentally, the four Aurors include Ginny, Harry’s ‘schoolboy crush’; and it turns out to be much more than a crush when Harry sees her again. What’s more is that Harry is working upon a case that seems to connect to him directly. And once again, it opens up old fears: fears of losing loved ones.

Ron, on the other hand, seems to be tired of Hermione. Tempers are running high and fights are breaking out more often than usual. Are they really falling apart? Or can they sort this out before it is too late?

Then there is the case itself. Who is trustworthy, and who is not? Who is deadly enough to murder four people in cold blood?

Indulge into the gut-wrenching action, combined with warm romance and tingling suspense; while I tell you a story of love, ambition and obsession… a story of what those killer instincts can do. EDIT: MAJOR revamping going on, with regard to plot, characterisation, and general style of writing. I would urge you not to read this until I've removed this notice because I wasn't very good six years ago, and this is as bad as I was. *Places traffic cones*

Coup de Grace by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: After a year full of bombings and killings, we thought it couldn’t get worse. But we were horribly wrong. And then they struck the final blow… upon our tolerance.

26/11/2008.

This was the day when Mumbai, India’s financial capital was attacked by terrorists. They kept the city hostage for around sixty hours taking hundreds of lives and injuring many more. This attack is counted amongst the most deadliest terrorist attacks so far. It raised a wave of fury and unity in Mumbai.

But after all this, are we, as residents of this diverse world, really united? Why do we fight with each other, just because we belong to different religions? Does difference in faith really matter?

I am Ginny Weasley Potter from Hufflepuff and this story is for the Written Word Challenge of the Hogwarts Spring Term, 2009. I am writing to support the organisation called ‘Citizens For Peace’.
