Welcome to my author page!

I am a teacher, musician, reader, and avid Harry Potter fan. I am originally from the Midwest and now live a bit farther south. I am thrilled to be a proud member of RAVENCLAW House and enjoyed being a site moderator for a time as well.

I hope you enjoy the many stories and poems I have written. I am proud of them all and appreciate any feedback you might care to leave (in other words, reviews are love!) I've listed them below with a short description since I know trolling through summaries can be tedious. Thanks for reading!

EDIT: Someday I will categorize my stories by genre. Today is not that day. ;)

A Perfect Christmas by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry is once again enjoying Christmas at the Burrow, as he takes a short break from his hunt for the Horcruxes to spend time with family and friends. When Harry and Ron Apparate to Diagon Alley to do some shopping, they are surprised to learn from Fred and George that Victor Krum has begun working at the Ministry of Magic. Returning to the Burrow, Ron is upset to learn Hermione had lunch with Victor, and he questions his relationship with her. Ginny helps Ron understand and plan his next move. But when Hermione arrives, they fight once more over the Bulgarian Quidditch player. Will Ron be able to put aside his feelings of jealousy and insecurity and finally tell Hermione how he feels?

This is a rather long, very fluffy one-shot for Ron and Hermione and their perfect Christmas.

Not Really Saying Goodbye by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry Potter is staying at the Burrow for Bill and Fleur’s wedding. The night before he leaves on his journey to vanquish Voldemort, he goes out to the garden to think. Soon Ginny joins him, and he finally tells her about Prophecy. Ron and Hermione come out for a brief shared moment. Harry and Ginny come to a sad but resolute understanding before returning to the house hand in hand.

This is a one-shot scene from Book Seven. It is very fluffy and possibly a bit sniffly! It is also the second part of The Seventh Summer, a set of three stories taking place in the summer after Harry's sixth year.

The Boy Who Left by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is a look ahead at Harry's last night with the Dursleys, and takes place the night of his seventeenth birthday. Harry is both sad and relieved to be leaving Privet Drive for good. But before he can meet Ron and Hermione at the Burrow, Voldemort finds out that the magical protection which keeps Harry at safe at Privet Drive has ended, and sends Death Eaters to attack. Harry is forced to protect his aunt and uncle, and deal with the consequences of the attack, before he finally says good-bye to the Dursleys forever. Beginning with some quiet reflection, surging to exciting action, and featuring a few surprises as well, this story begins Harry's final adventure in Book Seven.

This is a one-shot story which I have split into two parts due to the length. It begins the series The Seventh Summer,a set of three stories taking place in the summer after Harry's sixth year.

The Room of Rejection by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry had hidden the Half-Blood Prince’s potions book in the Room of Requirement to avoid turning it over to Professor Snape. On the morning of Dumbledore’s funeral Harry goes for a quiet walk through Hogwarts and ends up back at the Room of Requirement. He goes in, thinking to retrieve the book, but leaves with something quite different.

This is a missing moment - of sorts - from HBP. It is very reflective, as Harry ponders the choices he has made, and the choices he faces. But there is a brief touch of Hogwarts quirkiness at the end as Harry experiences a poignant connection with someone he’s lost.

Chapter 24 1/2: A Walk and A Talk by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A missing moment from "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".

Harry and Ginny leave the common room for a walk on the grounds after their first kiss, and afterwards Harry talks to Ron about his new relationship with Ginny.
