I am no longer an author on Mugglenet Fan Fiction. But please enjoy the stories I wrote a year or so ago anyhow! Thank you to everyone who wrote meaningful, wonderful reviews and supported my writing. If you wish to contact me, please do so by email, at lindsey.bell@rocketmail.com. Thank you.

My name is Lindsey, with the penname of Ron x Hermione on both here and the forums. I am a member of the Hufflepuff house and support my house with the utmost respect and endeavour, always going out of my way when possible to receive extra points. This would be one of the reason I have such an extensive library of stories, because most of them are challenge fictions. Some have even won a few awards. For example, Pain Doesn't Cost a Thing won first place in the Summer Challenge in 2007, Unexpected Gifts won second place in a challenge near Christmas 2006, Sacking that Silvery Man . . . won third place in the 'Dolores Umbridge Challenge' in the Spring-Summer of 2007, The Depths of a Darkened Mind won third place in the Gauntlet of Summer 2007, and I'm thinking that that is it. I had taken leave from about August 2007 to October-ish, but I found that I couldn't stay away from here for that long. I hope that my writing has improved at least a bit since last writing a story, and I hope that you, the possible reader, enjoys what you read.

Drop-dead-gorgeous banner by KC/sayiansirius! Go Hufflepuffs!

I am officially in SPEW! (The Society for the Proper Evaluation of Writers.) *coughs or Society for the Protection and Expansion of Weirdness coughs* But I now have a straitjacket! *tries to wave but can't due to restraint*

I now am even in the Susan Bones Book Club, where we analyse different brilliant stories on the forums. It's amazing there. Cute Banner by Noldo.

And though I have blatantly yet to go on a poetry spree of writing, I am in Poetry Anyone, a great little club where poets come together to share their views and thoughts on the metre of a poem. :) Amazing banner by the lovely suzie/crazy_purple_hp_freak!

NEW UPDATE

January 30th, 2008:

The last update I kind of lied a bit. I'm sorry about that. It turned out that while soccer winded down, drama and schoolwork didn't, keeping me away for longer. Now I have a few hours on the computer every once in a while and found that I couldn't stay away from some of the challenges. I just had a new story published Everlasting Friendship and a Green Baseball Cap if it is of any interest to you, dear reader. -grins- I do hope that I continue to write stories and someone continues to read them. Thanks very much for all of the continuous support through reviews and emails. I love you all.

~Lindsey :)

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Carrie West finds the love of her life murdered by an unknown hand the day before her wedding. Christian Lowe was very well known to many amongst the Wizarding World, an infamous Healer, a man that gave generous donations to St. Mungo's. Showing compassion to anyone he met, he came off as a wonderful person. Carrie felt that she was the luckiest person in the world to be marrying such a catch. But it all came crashing down the day she found his body.

The funeral is had, the burial over, and Carrie finds herself wondering what to do with her life now. The life she wanted had died along with Christian. But a mysterious man comes forward with information concerning Christian that Carrie had never known before, something that might have ensued in his murder.

With the new information, Carrie learns of the possibilities of who the killers may or may not be. When the day comes for her to testify toward the accused, Carrie finds herself reeling with possibilities of what she might do when she sees her fiancee's killers. The Unexplained Files by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After the last battle Ron and Hermione started a relationship. But Ron's love for being an Auror soon surpasses Hermione, and they break it off, both heartbroken and discouraged. Hermione’s love for books has obscured her mind, and she soon discovers a tiny shop on the outskirts of Muggle London to establish a bookstore, a place where she can wield her own adoration as well as assist others in theirs. She leaves the magical world and all of the friends she's made behind with it. She hides her wand in a box under bed, away from any harm or pretense to use it. Fairly soon, what had started out as a shop that many thought would go out of business in weeks had established itself as a very worthwhile enterprise. Mark, Hermione's boyfriend, is constantly toying with her nerves, his abusive and whiny persona taking its toll on her life.

On a very important date in Muggle London, Mark proposes to Hermione under the oddest of circumstances, and Hermione glimpses Ron for the first time in nearly a year. Her love for him causes Mark to be outraged, and they leave the scene they have made in shambles.

Ron and Hermione are soon dating again, now that their lives have settled and their jobs are at ease. All is going well until Hermione begins to show signs of sickness. Bruises are forming on her body and she can't make out where they came from. She dismisses them and blames it on clumsiness, but the headaches become worse and worse until one day she finally collapses and is taken to St. Mungo's.

Hermione's illness turns out to be worse than anyone could have ever imagined. Will she be able to overcome it, and will true love prevail it all?

This is a new and improved, revamped version of this story. It has been rewritten halfway in compliance with DH. The older story, with all of its lovely reviews, have been regretfully deleted to make room for this version. Enjoy!

The Dark Lord's Most Faithful Servant by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: His words are similar to velvet, soft and sweet. His eyes stare into yours and you dare not glance away. Thus, when he speaks it is unacceptable for you to digress or ignore. Because he is your savior, your mentor, your god, your father, you must follow him. He thinks that he has all of the power he can possibly hold in his large fists above you.

He is correct. But only as long as you will listen.

There is nothing that provides Astra solace in what her father calls the Dark Lord’s world. She possesses no hope, friends, or schooling to keep her life in check. It is only her father and his stories of how he is the most loyal servant the Dark Lord has ever known, and how one day he will rule over the world. But have these beliefs been pressed upon her and interpreted as her own? Will she one day become a rival of the Dark Lord’s most faithful servant? Written for the Extra Credit Challenge: Idea by Ron x Hermione of Hufflepuff House. WON FIRST PLACE IN THE CHALLENGE!

Everlasting Friendship and a Green Baseball Cap by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A young boy crept stealthily down the stairs in only boxer shorts and a baseball cap. He pulled the hat down over his eyes to give him more of a shield so he wouldn’t be seen. It was his haven, his protector. No boogeyman or burglar could touch him as long as the hat was on his small head. Every time he put it on it felt like the first time.

Josiah and Grace are inseparable. They’ve known each other since they were only days old and that bond has held strong these past eleven years. A secluded wood is their haven, their place to play. But this forest was not meant to be inhabited by anyone or anything. It is the same place that many have been murdered. The two children, too, are expecting their special letters to a special school. Sadness, kisses, and lots of love are in store for the two. Sadly, one may just have to tell the other that life doesn’t come out the way everyone planned. Will they be able to survive it?

Remaining Sacred by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: She awakes in the middle of the night screaming, screaming for something that even she herself knows she can’t stop. His image is burned into her body, her heart, her brain. Every time she opens her eyes she sees his perfect image hazily in her line of view, yet it is so flawed because she is the one seeing it. Her smile would form, then relax, then falter as she saw him coming near. He’d soon take her in his arms, pushing her against the wall, a fearful grimace approaching upon her face for the first time since meeting him because of his sudden violence . . . This constant frame spools on an infinite wheel inside her head as she sleeps, bathes, eats. It is all she can think of. This same movie plays within her brain for all of her days, all except when she is with him. While he is with her, his love (though he constantly is disproving it) never falters and the movie changes, distorts into what is happening then and now, and she is forced to relive it for a second, third, and fifteenth horrifying time, even when she is not with him and the ordeal is over. She only ends it at the last part, squeezing her eyes tightly shut and not daring to open them until the dawn comes. Whether or not sleep comes she does not know, but all the girl thinks of is him. It is all that is possible, all that is true.

“I’ll tell them. I’ll them everything you did when you were such a bad little girl."

But he still admired her from afar, and anything she said or did was beautiful in his eyes.
