Potters’ Detective Agency: Case #1 - For All Time by king

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Post-Hogwarts, Post-Voldemort, Mystery, Romance.
This story is a sequel to “The Fifth Horcrux” which is in turn a sequel to “Harry Potter and the Needed One”. Harry and Hermione have just graduated from Hogwarts. Voldemort is dead, but his followers still hate our favorite wizard and his leading witch. Fortunately, Harry and Hermione can look out for each other. They are a perfectly matched pair with complimentary skills and a rich history of working well together. Both are talented, resourceful, clever and willing to seize the initiative when necessary. In the dangerous world of wizards, Harry and Hermione need each other.

The Fifth Horcrux by king

Summary: This story is a sequel to an earlier story of mine called: Harry Potter and the Needed One. You will need to read that one first for this one to make sense. Harry learns that Hermione loves him and admits that he loves her. Unfortunately Harry has a lot of powerful enemies and an awful job that he must do. Harry must become a killer or a victim and he doesn't want a girlfriend. Hermione learns a horrible truth about the Fifth Horcrux. She must help Harry in his quest to destroy Voldemort and at the same time keep Harry alive.

Harry Potter and the Needed One by king

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: SPOILER WARNING! Events in HBP are discussed. This story picks up immediately after the funeral as Harry and his friends leave Hogwarts on the train. During the summer that follows Harry’s sixth year he begins his lonely quest to destroy Lord Voldemort. He finds two of the items that he is seeking and a truth he has been attempting to avoid. This chapter covers the trip to London on the Hogwarts Express after Dumbledore’s funeral. Why are Professors McGonagall and Flitwick on the train? Why is Hermione crying on someone else’s shoulder? What is Percy Weasley up to?

The Moment That Was Not by king

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This story is set in the middle of HBP. It’s a “what if” scenario. I ask the question: What would have happened if Ron had not interrupted a conversation between Harry and Hermione? Throughout HBP, Ron came between Hermione and Harry. I ask you to think about this: If Hermione loved Ron and was jealous of Lavender, why did she have the birds attack Ron? Why didn’t she attack Lavender? Read the reviews for my fict. It's been flammed by a Ron-Hermione fanatic who is unbelievably stupid. This is great fun!

E Deus Unum by king

Summary: There was once a goofy movie called Clue with a plot that was based on a board game. This movie had several possible endings that were all implausible but they were fun and entertaining. This little yarn is an alternative ending of the Harry Potter series and is offered in the same spirit of fun and entertainment. Of course with themes like love and death it’s not all laughs. This story begins in the summer before Harry’s sixth year. I began writing it months before reading HBP so you’ll have to accept that just about everything in my version of the HP universe is different from JKR’s HP universe. (Pretend HBP didn’t happen.) In my story Hermione has loved Harry since her third year at Hogwarts. She is terrified by the war. If she doesn’t grow up quickly, she might not grow up at all. Since Harry is over his infatuation with Cho Chang, Hermione makes her move and she pulls out all of the stops. Expect some extreme behavior from a girl who throws herself at a project and is under a lot of stress. She still cares deeply about S.P.E.W. OTHER POINTS - Having never heard of a Horcrux, I devised another source of Voldemort’s immortality. - I don’t like Professor Snape, but I’m not bold enough to make him a real Death Eater. - There is a war on and characters are killed, wounded and tortured, but not Dumbledore. - I’ve made Ron into a much more confident and serious character than the books. This is based on three ideas: war is like chess and Ron excels at that, contact with the brain in the DoM could make Ron more thoughtful, and hanging around with a manly man who works with dragons like Charlie Weasley could help any boy grow up.
