A writer and nothing else: a man alone in a room with the English language, trying to get human feelings right. ~ John K. Hutchens, New York Herald Tribune, 10 September 1961.

About Me: I'm a fifteen year old girl obsessed with writing and Harry Potter. Naturally, the two seemed to merge into a love of fanfiction! I'm from Australia and I started writing when I was eleven. I see fanfiction as a practice for writing original fiction. That's my dream - to be a writer. How cliche is that?  My dream is to meet Rupert Grint, and I'm forever jealous of my friend who got to hug Tom Felton last week. Oh, and my name's Jordy.

Favourite Genre? Next Generation, hands down! Romance works too. And when they're combined, they make for the best of fics!

Ships? No angry mobs, capiche? But I love Rose/Scorpius! Oh and Dramione.

Activity on the forums? I used to be a beta, a dueler and SBBC member but I had to give up all three! Writing's my only activity right now.

Best HP Book? Deathly Hallows, without a doubt. It didn't disappoint me, and I loved the ending. PoA comes in second.

Favourite story of mine? The Gryffindor Gang holds a special place in my heart... it's my first fic, and I feel like I know each character individually.

Favourite non-HP book? The 'Tomorrow' Series by John Marsden, Pride and Prejudice, The Hunger Games.

Favourite movie? Pretty much any classic Disney movies. Not the lame ones they come up with nowadays, but all-time favourites like The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and ALADDIN! Not Beauty and the Beast. I still find that a little creepy.

Favourite TV shows? Veronica Mars, Glee, Avatar: The Last Airbender. An interesting combination.

Music/bands? I love crappy radio music. Because it's too catchy. Therefore, I am brainwashed. Don't really care though! Love Ed Sheeran, Foster the People, Gotye, Jessie J and Grouplove, but for some odd reason, going through a Justin Timberlake phase.

Cat or dog? Cat.

Stories coming soon? Well, Saving Dominique is in its early stages of production, but I'm really confident about its chances. I've got a Dramione fic and a James/Lily fic that are both no closer to being finished than my maths assignment.

So, please read my stories, leave a comment and or just PM me on the forums, capiche? ~ Jordy

Love, Friendship and Other Things I Fail At by U-No-Poo

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

I didn't mean for this to happen. Really. My plan was to get through sixth-year without doing any more damage to myself. I've already wrecked so many good things in my life. I thought I was done with my self-destruction.

Apparently, I'm not. Because falling in love with Albus was not part of my plan.

Saving Dominique by U-No-Poo

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Dominique Weasley’s life is a mess. At seventeen years of age, she’s in her final year at Hogwarts, and things couldn’t be going any worse. She’s failing most of her NEWT classes, her perfect mother is driving her crazy, she’s practically a magnet for trouble and she hates Felix Thomas with a burning passion.

And now she’s pregnant.

The Gryffindor Gang by U-No-Poo

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Five students - Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, Scorpius Malfoy, Claudia Kelaney and Adam Finnigan. Five different stories. One house - Gryffindor.

Join The Gryffindor Gang, five unlikely best friends, as they enter Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as first year students. Throughout the year, they must overcome their own personal battles. Albus just doesn't seem to get out of his father's spotlight - will people treat him like himself, or as Harry Potter's son? Scorpius is dealing with his family too - being a Malfoy in Gryffindor isn't exactly peachy for him. Claudia's started slowly adjusting to the wizarding world, but will her sneaky, horrible roommate cause Rose and Claudia big trouble? And Adam's just not having the perfect start to Hogwarts that he'd have liked.

These are all trying problems when you're eleven years old. But their real test happens when danger is thrown into all five of their lives, threatening them all. Will they be able to face their biggest battle yet, and live to tell the tale?

This is Part One in The Gryffindor Gang Trilogy.

The Only One by U-No-Poo

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Victoire Weasley walked down the aisle on her father’s arm. Her strawberry blonde locks danced freely down her back, and her simple, white wedding dress brought out every beautiful curve in her body. Her face broke into a smile as she saw her fiancé, Teddy Lupin, standing beside the minister. Today, they would become husband and wife.

This is U-No-Poo of Ravenclaw House writing for the Great Hall's Weddings Challenge; prompt - The Big Weddings.

The (Other) World by U-No-Poo

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Hermione Granger was a plain, nerdy eleven-year-old girl, anticipating the start of high school and a new beginning to re-invent herself. Little did she know that her 'new beginning' would be something else entirely that she'd never consider in her wildest dreams.
