Howdy!! My name is Peapod (Actually this isn't my REAL name but rather a nickname my friends have given me.)

The name Peapod doesn't give out a lot of information on me, such as, am I a girl? A Boy? Well, let me tell you a little about myself and then we shall see, or rather you will, I already know who I am thanks.

I've been A Potter Fan since the 5th grade (I'm in 8th now.) when I convinced my mom to let me read the books. After I read the books (In a suprising amount of time, I'm a fast reader, always have been.) my best friend, Twinkie, and I talked about them on such occasions as when we ran out of things to talk about on the way home from the mall. I didn't think that a whole big world of people were maddly obsessed with these books I had read. In fact I was blown away when I realized there was.

I guess I really became a fellow 'obsessie' when my friend Kitty moved to my town. We pretty much hit it right off, Twinkie Kitty and I along with our other dear friend Toad. After noticing her HP stickers aplied liberally on her backpack I bucked up the courage to ask, 'What the heck are those?' And, after that you just never quite got her to be quiet about Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. (whom she thinks is HOT in all capital letters) Life suddenly became a big Harry Potter world. She introduced me to Mugglenet, Sugarquill, Leaky-Cauldron and some other Dan Radcliffe sight I have long since forgotten the name of. She pretty much brought out the dormant HP part of me that was obsessed.

She will never know how much I love her for bringing the world of HP to life for me.

So, even though Kitty now lives in stinkin Oregon, all the way across the United States we all still love HP more than the normal human being should, although everyone around this website seems to be just as obsessed as me, fancy that.) I now frantically check this website every day, I have newspaper articles and soundtracks and posters and a bumper sticker with 'Seeker' on it and many other things stacked about my room and set out as a type of shrine.

I have one confession that grieves me beyond what you can imagine.

I don't own all the books. Boo and hiss all you like but the cold hard truth is, I am broke.

(not true i have nearly 100 dollars but hey, that computer won't buy itself you know.)

So, alas, you could call me an obsesser from afar. It surely is a pain in the behind to have to borrow a book from Twinkie if I ever want to read it.

I love her for that to.

And that my friends is me. Peapod. The girl. =)

(I figured if you didn't realize I was a girl when i mentioned shopping, you were a lost cause. And all my best friends are girls...)

Peapod out.
