Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Maeve O'Malley realises what she has lost. Connects to the Daughter of Light series.

The Lady and the Snake by Houlestar

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The snake was there, in the garden, intwined around the rosebush. Aurelia jumped, she hadn't seen it there before.
"It's more afraid of you than you are of it," said a soft voice from behind her.
She turned around, she hadn't seen Salazar there before.
"Is it true?" she asked.
"Is what true?" he snapped.

The Stupid Toad Woman by mugglegurl

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: One-shot challenge- owls, written by the patient Hufflepuff, mugglegurl. We all know that Hedwig was attacked by Umbridge in OotP. Here's her tale of what happened. Somewhat funny, if I do say so myself.

The Boy Who Left by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is a look ahead at Harry's last night with the Dursleys, and takes place the night of his seventeenth birthday. Harry is both sad and relieved to be leaving Privet Drive for good. But before he can meet Ron and Hermione at the Burrow, Voldemort finds out that the magical protection which keeps Harry at safe at Privet Drive has ended, and sends Death Eaters to attack. Harry is forced to protect his aunt and uncle, and deal with the consequences of the attack, before he finally says good-bye to the Dursleys forever. Beginning with some quiet reflection, surging to exciting action, and featuring a few surprises as well, this story begins Harry's final adventure in Book Seven.

This is a one-shot story which I have split into two parts due to the length. It begins the series The Seventh Summer,a set of three stories taking place in the summer after Harry's sixth year.

Then Silence by mcgonagallfan

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: What really happened when Harry and Dumbledore left Minerva McGonagall guarding Barty Crouch Jr after Harry came back from the maze? Read and find out...

Quote:

The man in front of her shifted slightly in his bonds and Minerva stiffened instantly, tightening the grip on her wand. He opened his eyes slowly and tried to move his arms.

‘Don’t move,’ she said sharply, acting much braver than she felt.

Please Read and Review!

The Room of Rejection by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry had hidden the Half-Blood Prince’s potions book in the Room of Requirement to avoid turning it over to Professor Snape. On the morning of Dumbledore’s funeral Harry goes for a quiet walk through Hogwarts and ends up back at the Room of Requirement. He goes in, thinking to retrieve the book, but leaves with something quite different.

This is a missing moment - of sorts - from HBP. It is very reflective, as Harry ponders the choices he has made, and the choices he faces. But there is a brief touch of Hogwarts quirkiness at the end as Harry experiences a poignant connection with someone he’s lost.

The End by lily_evans34

--Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, American hardcover edition, page 157

Have you ever wondered what exactly made Ron and Hermione's day so perfect? It couldn't have just been the sheer fun they had from going to the village to make it the day of their lives...maybe there was something more...
