A Death Eater's Christmas by the nutty imp

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: 12 Days of Christmas - HP Style - Focuses on Barty Crouch Jr.

(Although I don’t really think that this is that disturbing… I think I still ought to post a warning.)
Warning: This is not a happy and humourous Christmas-sy tale. It gives us a brief look at the disturbing deranged mind of Barty Crouch Jr.

CREAM OF THE CROP by Wiccan

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I just HATE this guy! This was written for a challenge at Circle of Crones to write about the one character that you LOATHE! The one character that you detest so much that you have never been able to write...until forced to by a challenge. Well, I forced myself. Trust me, visiting his warped little mind almost sent me into psychoanalysis! It was a featured story...but didn't win. *sigh* Just a short one-shot character analysis that I hope you enjoy. There is no plot...no humor...nor dialogue. It is a brief glimpse into a slightly aberrant psychology to see what makes him tick. Its sole purpose is to make you think and possibly appreciate the good things in your life.

Day Against the Darkest Night by chica91

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione are worried. They can't grasp the fact the final battle, the dark against the light, will be occuring in less than a few days. They try and deal with the pressure as they prepare for the battle. R&R please! Can now be considered a little AU because it was written pre-HBP. That doesn't change my storyline though. :) Okay, I finally fixed my problem! Now, I just have to work around my crazy schedule. (ever hear of Color Guard? UGH!) But it should slow down soon and I'll update when I can. I already started the next chapter! :) Thanks for anyone that waited it out!

Harry Potter and the Battle of the Minds by harryandginnyxx

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is my interpretation of what's going to happen at the end of the last book.

From My Perch by Waddiwasi chik

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Humans… Ya can’t live with ‘em, ya cant live without ‘em. Well, actually -- we could. We owls are perfectly capable of looking after ourselves. It’s the humans who need us. My name is Hedwig, or at least that’s what my so called ‘owner’, Harry Potter calls me. Everybody thinks he’s so special. I think it’s something to do with surviving death when he was a baby. I only hear snatches of conversation about it. He talks to me sometimes. Oh yes, he tells me just about everything. It can be dull, but over emotional and hormonally challenged youth often find comfort in confiding their every trouble and sorrow in their beloved pets. Poor Harry. He’s so miserable, it’s really quite pathetic, but I can’t help but love the guy. This is his story, from a different point of view. It's in! Please read and review chapter 11!

Life's Changes by lilythemarauder

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This story starts at the very end of James and Lily's 6th year and takes you through their graduation. Together the Marauders, and the 'Marauderettes' will face the impending danger and find love. *Very, very small HBP spoiler. I have submitted chapter 2!

Circus Ultima by Sirius Intent

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A return to Grimmauld Place prior to Harry’s sixth year at Hogwarts places all of the inhabitants at risk from a Dark and Malevolent Force.

Quote:

But now the circle was to be broken. Harry felt a sweat break out at the back of his neck. He felt himself shudder.

Harry had never been one to believe in premonitions, but at that moment he had seen clearly that the destruction of his life and the life of wizard-kind was but a moment away.

Not only that but he had also just seen the source of that destruction.

To Carry On A Memory by VictoriaWeasley

By surviving, she has carried on the memory, the legacy, of the heroes of the Final Battle. Reading the Stars by UnnamedElement

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: One thing can tear a person apart. One thing can kill a person, in a sense, yet they still live on. But one person can also fix a person. They can bring someone once dead, back to life. After the final battle, there’s a lot of this to be done, especially in those close to the deceased. The trio loses someone, and Hermione’s not coping well. Can someone crack her shell? Who will make her whole again—or at least try to do so? Written for Redemption Challenge. Hufflepuff. One-shot.

The End of Only One Beginning by LaneTechFreshie

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry had been talked into going back to Hogwarts for his last year, and yet, throughout it, he had been leaving the school very frequently to do as Dumbledore wished. It is here, in a small glen that the fate to the Wizarding world is brought foward. Since neither can live while the other survives, who will be the one to stand up? This is my imagining of the last chapter of the seventh book. HBP spoiler, but really, everyone on this site should have read it by now.
