"Why is it that we murder our heros?" That was a great line, really caught my eye. This was a great one-shot, and I saw that there was a sequel. I will definatly read that. This was one of the best fanfics on this site in my opinion. Just goes to show you that quality has nothing to do with quantity. Don't think I don't read those 31 chapter stories, but this 1 chapter...Well it was just great. 10! ~Ivy

This was a fantastic one-shot. Your writing is elegant and your characterizations are spot on. I really loved Ginny; she had the perfect amount of bitterness mixed in with her sadness. My favorite lines were "Dumbledore did, of course, because that's what internationally famous wizards do: go and give heart wrenching speeches when other internationally famous wizards die" and "People still call him 'You-Know-Who' even though he's gone for real this time, as though the name is going to bring him back. It makes me want to scream." Her whole journal entry was a great account of her emotions. The only thing that seemed a little off to me was Harry spining her around and Ginny kissing him after he asked her to Hogsmeade. It was very sweet, but it seemed a little fast, especially for Harry. Also, it ended with "Love, Ginny," so I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a journal entry or a letter. But overall, it was very well-written and touching. Great job!

I think this is one of the best one-shots I've ever read. It's thought through, well written and SO touching! You've captured Ginny's state of mind so nicely and the grief that Ron is still carrying. The whole scenery shows that life did go on without Harry, but that he is still missed beyond words. And, yes, I did cry. And I will when I read it again - it's a favourite.

Wow. That's all I can say. This has definately got to be the best fan fic I have ever read. It made me cry, but don't worry, that's a good thing. I never even considered Harry dying untill now, and this really make you realize that anything is possible. Thanks for giving me such a great story to read. This really make me wonder if JK ever reads fan fics, or if she ever will. I think she would really love this, even if this is the way the book is going or not. I don't know what else to say except, thanks for the good cry.

I'm almost crying. Well no, I am crying. You just wanted the hurt to go away, for it to be better, for him to be back. It's just not fair. It was beautifully wriiten ad so very sad but she is coming back. Great one-shot :( I mean that in a good way, as in it's meant to be a smile but i'm crying.

That was excellent. You really brought a lot of emotion into the story. Ron's reaction to what he had read in the diary was great. Poor Ginny, what is a girl to do when the love of your life dies and you are 16. The one thing I think I may find missing is that I would believe Ginny's diary entries would have been a little more bitter than they were.
