Amazing, as usual- it was the best surprise I've had all week when I looked in the Hermione/Other and found this updated. About how many more chapters are left?

Author's Response: Thank you so much, hon! My original outline calls for 15 chapters and a small epilogue, and I've been sticking pretty close to that so far, so we are truely 'further back then in' by this point. :-)

Dark Magic cults had been flourishing in the chaos of the post-war wizarding world. With very little left in the way of a functioning government until just recently, it had been the perfect climate for even the most mild mannered, slightly repressed British wizard to suddenly done a costume made of bed sheets, put a stuffed badger on their head, and take to memorising strange pass codes and ancient pledges while plotting mad schemes in dank basements.

I love this passage. I would, unfortunately, probably end up being one of those people. I am a terrible person under stress.

I was just thinking about the dueling. not only is it barbaric, but it is extremely sexist. I mean, first of all, the men have to offer for the women, right? second, there are 2 men fighting over a woman. how much more Stone Age can you get? that is the kind of behavior I really despise.

I think the reason I like this story so much is that I'm in love with oliver. I really really cannot wait for the next update.

Author's Response: Actually, I think I would also be exibit number (a, with a badger on my head, so at least I'm in good company! Dueling is barbaric, isn't it? I think alot of things in the wizarding world the way JK has written it would strike us that way.... Oliver is truely my favourite character to write, and I love hearing that people find my rendition of him apealing :-)

haha i love how hermione is pacing around talking to herself and acting..well..somewhat insane. i think its soo funny. i really like the way its written and the different POVs. and the interaction between oliver and hermione at the end is priceless!
