Yay! Loved this fic, I was admitedly also a bit confused about who did what when, and why they're all so angry over it being Wood. Everyone seemed to like Wood in the books. So that was twisty. But I'm guessing that the boys don't know about Goyle so maybe they'll change face soon.

Author's Response: LOL - yes, it was almost shakspearian there for a bit with all of the identity confusion going on :-) I'm really glad you've enjoyed it <3

Author's Response: LOL - I promise, I will get better about udating. *hangs head sheepishly*

I LOVE this story. You make the story your own, yet it's still in the Potter universe. I love the situation. I can totally understand where Hermione is coming from. Just having the freedom of choosing your own husband taken away from you would be horrible. Even if she is pushing him away with both hands right now, I suspect Hermione will start to see Oliver's good intentions...hopefully. Keep writing, this is wonderful!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your praise and encouragement! It means a lot to be told that you're doing such a good job, and I'm exstaticly thrilled :-) Yes, Hermione's having a little dificultly seeing Oliver for the caring man he is right now, but I'm sure she'll come around. *hugs*

The situation hurst her so she can't see this for the loving gesture Wood planed. If I were him, I'd grant her wish and withdraw my offer. And may she find her heart's content with the Goyles.

Author's Response: *lol* Yes, she has been a bit stand-offish, but in her defence, she 's had a great deal to think about, and I don't think she's capable of dealing with Oliver's kindness just yet. She'll come around. *hugs*

Oliver is so sweet! Hermione's being a bit of a bitch. Is it ever going to work out? Can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you!

Ah i love this story. Easily my favourite, for both plot and the way it is written. Love your work - keep its up. I'm checkin for update regularly

Author's Response: Wow, you're favourite? Thank you!!! I'm going to try my very best to have Chapter 5 (Do Not Go Quietly Into The Night) to my beta by the end of the week, and if all goes well, and if there aren't any major re-writes, I should have it posed to the queue here by Tuesday of next week... so hopefully you won't have too long to wait.

Author's Response: LOL - Thank you very much! I really appreciate all the specific examples you've given of things that you enjoyed, and things you think I did well - it's very helpful for me to know what I've done right :-) Charlie and Oliver are fun together, aren't they? I have to admit, I loved writing that bit. Poor Charlie, he hasn't been in this story very much, has he?

Noooooo! How could you leave us with such a big cliffy?! Please update soon or I might just die (well not really. But I would be upset). It's so cute how Wood is starting to get "feelings" for Hermione! Poor Ron. He's very confused isn't he? Haha loved the bit where she was swearing.

Author's Response: *glomps* I love reading your comments ;p It's very nice how you give specific events, or examples from the story that you like. Thank you!

This is rather like Hermione in Book 6. Maybe the strain of the war blocked her growing emotionaly to where she could see Wood's point of view. Not suprised Ron is the same; he'll never grow up. Realy shocked to find Goyle in on this. We don't even know if Hermioe can cook.

Author's Response: Do you think so? It's nice to hear that I've managed to incorporate the changes in the characters from the newest book. Glad you thought Ron was believable too. (He's so much fun to write) LOL - no, we don't know if Hermione can cook, do we? ^_^

Loved it! I got a bit confused though. What was happening with Goyle? Did Ginny know that it was Wood but Hermione still thought that it was Goyle? Oh, I'm so confused. Anyway. Totally loved it. I don't remember if you mentioned it in an earlier chapter, but I didn't realise that Hermione was over 20, I started reading this story a while ago and I kinda forgot some stuff.

Author's Response: Ah, yes, the elusive Mr. Goyle. He has yet to make an appearence, hasn't he? *lol* Who knows what (if anything) goes on inside his little piggy brain.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I love reading your reviews. It was a bit confusing, there for a while, was't it? Let's see; Ginny read the contract that Hermione recieved via owl in the first chapter. That was Goyle's contract (Oliver's got lost, if you remember, because his owl was drunk, cortesy of George ;p), so Ginny knew nothing of Oliver's contract, either. Which is why she looked at Harry so strangely when he suddenly came out with Wood's name. Does that help at all? If I ever re-write this, I may try to make that part alittle more straight forward, but it might lose some of it's charm if I make it less like a game of 'follow-the-queen'... ;-)

“Gorgeous? She’s pleasant enough, I suppose." To understand this we need to know if your Hermione is based on the illistrations and text of the books or Emma Watson. But the story is shaping up as a real tear jerker/thriller. I look forward to more.

Author's Response: I've been really horrible by not responding before now - I'm sorry! My vision of Hermione is actually based on the story discriptions, though of course I have a little leeway, as this is now set a few years into the future. I don't see Hermione as being stunningly beautiful, at least not in the conventional sense. *lol* I'm glad you like it so far! I hope you've enjoyed the newest chapters as well - I have to admit, I was alittle nervous about them. ;P

HAR! When I started reading Percy's part I thought Hermione was being forced to marry Draco. When you look at it that way, a life with Wood wouldn't be bad. Good plot development. Holds my attention and draws me on to the next bit.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm working hard on Chapter 6, and hope to have it to my beta for approval by the end of the week. Hope you get as 'drawn in' to the next part :-)
