I love this story. I was afraid that it was abandoned. I have to go back now and find the referrence to the marten. It is teasing at the back of my mind somewhere. I look forward to the more frequent updates. I hope that your personal concerns have resolved pleasently.
you are great. i was starting to think that i would never see the end of this story, but i am glad tosee i will. it is such a nice change to actually find a story on mnff with a plot (i am quite tired of one-shots and fluffy stories that are fully character driven) and to see that you actually intend to finish it instead of leaving it mid air as if you had run out of ideas (which also happens quite frequent). i am also very glad to see that neither hermione nor oliver are out of character (i fallen in love with hermione all over again in this story). really, you're one of favorite writers on mnff.

wait whats a marten? You finsihed? How many more chapters! I love this story. I have to say it took you a long time to update... anyways loved the chapter. It seems that Hermione is on the right track on discovering that she loves wood. I'm kind of scared to see what Malfoy is going to do.

All joking aside, I am so glad that you have updated. This story reminded me of why I read Harry Potter fan fiction and why I should continue to read it. I know you have been incredibly busy with your life and I am very grateful you choose to update.
Now, to the story. I loved this chapter. Adding Viktor was a smooth move, enabling good competition for Oliver. I liked the dynamic between them. There was tension but it wasn't childish and immature. Having Draco show up at the end was a total cliff hanger. Not very nice to do to me!
Please please please please update again. You are fantastic and every chapter is even better than the last.

It's just a coincidence that Draco's Patronus is a creature with a bushy tail...right? Because Hermione has bushy hair, and Draco's Patronus having at least some bushy hair might indicate...something.

I completed your amazing story early this morning and am completely enchanted by it. What an amazing piece you have created here - believable and interesting plot lines, new discoveries of feelings and sparks of electricity between Oliver and Hermione and the expert use of imagery/background to completely engross me in your words. The way you have written the progression between the two is nothing short of brilliant – you showed real reactions and uncertainties of this sort of arrangement, making their character that much more genuine. I also am impressed with the way you use the vernacular - writing the Scottish brogue is not an easy task. I read your bio and am ecstatic that you have not abandoned this piece. It is honestly one of the best fan-fics I have read. What a shame it would be for it to fall to the side and we never get to travel along their journey together up to fruition. Thank you so much for continuing this and for sharing your talent with us. I anxiously await your newest chapter and good writing to you.
