This is great. One of my favorite favorites. Canon-compliant, too. I love both Narcissa and Lupin, and you managed to portray them both very believably. That's saying a lot, as I am picky about the characterizations, especially my favorite characters. This made me laugh a whole bunch. The only reason why your story isn't as r&r'd as it should be is that it's been a while since it was published--stories like this one remind me of why it's worth it to dig through the archives, and not just look at the recent list. I also like how it makes fun of parent-teacher correspondence in the school systems; there were so many times in school when the silliness implicit in so much of it really struck me. Overall, a great story, and I can hardly think of anything to criticize. Maybe the inclusion of the Greengrasses as a "prominent family", because we don't really see barely any of them in the books, but that's just my personal opinion. I'm gonna send my mother a link to this, I know she'd enjoy it. She probably won't review, unless I can convince her to get an account here...;) A great story! Thanks for doing such a good job with it!
Very IC and very funny. I love how Lupin got the last word. Though Narcissa can gloat all she wants at the end of PoA... grr.

I've always loved the letter format. You write Lupin very well (though he sounds a bit like Dumbledore sometimes). Oh, I should probably go to bed sometime, shouldn't I? I'll think about that...hm....
lol! I love how Lupin is so calm and together about everything that he manages to turn the tables on Narcissa every time. I love that he aks her to say hello to Andromeda, especially!

A very interestingly done fan fiction. I like the way it feels like a departure from the typical fan fiction format in using letters. The characterisation is also good of the characters Lupin and Narcissa. It might have been nice to have a gloating letter at the end from Narcissa about Lupin's resignation though...

I read this story a wile ago and it’s always bothered my that I didn’t review it, as it is with out a doubt the finest piece of HP hummer Fan Fic I have ever read. You were perfectly in character, the plot and scenario were very believable and nothing in it was far fetched what so ever. Very few humor fix out there managed to combine the first two elements. Over a month later I still remembered the title- and what attracted me to the story. Mazl Tov on a job well done!
