Another great chapter, and I was glad to see Camilla showing the restraint she should. It can’t be easy knowing what her husband is involved in, and yet she was brave and didn’t beg him not to go. I really liked the romantic side of Severus. Who knew he had it in him? Apparently you did, so good job! I really hope he does come back to her safely, and they spend ‘happily ever after’.
I wanted to let you know that my first chapter has been validated, and I hope you will come check it out. We ‘Severus is a good guy’ fans have to stick together. The title is Fawkes’ Gifts.

A deeply downtrodden person sits at her desk surrounded by crumpled parchment. Deeply disturbed at the happenings of the last few days and anxiously awaiting the reply that must come. She worries about the great horned owl she has just sent will it return with aid? Or will it be shot down on sight.

The Mentor was sitting at his/her desk, it had been a long day. The Fan fic writers had always had horrible grammar and there run on sentences would drive her batty. As she bent low to add another parchment to the to many corrections pile, which happened to sitat the bottom of her/his garbage can. She heard a flutter of wings as a great horned owl swooped down into her/his office. She unraveled the letter quickly and hopefully, casting her eyes at the first three words she new it was going to be a long day. She sat down at her desk and began to read.

I need your help on this most mentally fixating problem

For the past 3 days I have been diligently working on a fic, My first fic ever. I have attempted about 5 hundred times to submit this fic when I realized it was my formatting at approximately 4 am I finally got it across but this morning it has disappeared from my archive.

I don't know how to get a hold of anyone in here and decided this was my best course of action. Please help me, It really is driving me quite and irreversibly crazy at the moment and I cannot rest until I have overcome this problem.

If you understand my predicament I would love your aid

I am loving reading this. It's one of the best stories I've read for quite some time. I don't usually go for ones with Snape as one of the main characters, but for once I'm glad I did.

I read both Chapter 40 and 41 this evening and since the review for both would be just about the same I'm going to review them together.

I'm very glad to see them back together, but with all the arguing they do I can't see them having a happy marriage unless they get some counseling. They seem like they are ripe for a 'Can This Marriage Be Saved' feature or for Dr. Phil. You know, that might make a good humor story, Camilla and Severus on Dr. Phil's show once the was is over.

My husband was a career man in the US Army. He had 5 years in when I met him and I was an Army wife for 16 years before he retired. I found that before I could be happy in my marriage I had to learn to accept the Army as a full partner. It took a few years for me to learn that and once I realized that I wasn't just married to him, I was also married to the Army. Once I accepted the Army as the parent (or maybe the in-law, I'm not sure which it was) my life got a lot easier and I saw the advantages I had over civilian life. I learned to love the Army.

He served two tours of duty in Viet Nam and I fought the first one tooth and nail, but I lost the battle and he had to go anyway. I learned while he was gone that the Army does take care of it's own and I had a group of people looking out for me while he was gone, That group included a Colonel and his wife and it went on through the ranks to a PFC, they gave me the support I needed. Three years later he went back to Viet Nam and by then I was ready to offer support to nother wives because I knew I had my support system to fall back on if I needed them.

My husband retired from the Army many years ago and I still miss Army life, particularly the strong community spirit that is found in the career military people of all branches of the service.

It's a shame Dumbledore kept the Order a secret society. If it had been openly declared to be an Army, that support system would naturally appear on it's own among the members. Severus would still be able to function as a spy, both sides already knew he was anyway. Camilla would have a support system to buck her up. And, the ranks would have swelled with people who were willing to fight to preserve their way of life.

The ministry wasn't going to do anything, 'He Who I Find Most Tiresome' had his own private army of Death Eaters and any other mercenaries he could recriut. Why couldn't DD have a private army and openly recruit? The Ministry of Magic has no Defense Minister and no agreement with the British Prime Minister, so somebody has to defend and protect the safety and security of the magical world from the forces of evil.

I know that 'HW' will die completely and for real and his DE's will be defeated in Deathly Hallows, but a new evil wizard (or maybe a witch) will appear by the time the children of Harry and his Hogwarts schoolmates are old enough to fight. That is one thing the magical and the Muggle worlds have in common, the history of the wizarding world show s that..

But there is no support system and no acknoledged Army, so Camilla is going to have to suck it up, and the Order will have to muddle on trying to defeat the next 'Prince or Princess (think Bellatrix) of Evil.'.
