Interesting. And I'm looking forward to seeing Camilla's mother.

I love this story! I think it is very true to charactere that Snape cannot forgive Camilla.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Will Snape be able to forgive Camilla? I'm not telling...

Ah but to give a review
Though you already have a hundred forty-eight!
So many for your eyes to veiw
And with an already overfilled plate!

Looks like my poetry's on par with yours. Love your storyline, though. It doesn't take very long to find in the mind exactly where you're at in paralelling the books, and you make it blend together so well!

Author's Response: Lovely poem. Ah, but one can never have too many reviews. Especially not for a review whore like me I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Thank you for reviewing and for the poem. : P

I suppose that I'm greedy enough to say that it would be nice to see this chapter...in more depth.

Otherwise, loved it, as usual!

Author's Response: What do you mean by "in more depth?" Is there a part that you don't feel was fleshed out enough? Or it just wasn't long enough? I'm curious. Thanks for the review. I'm glad you're enjoying it! ; )

Now I see that she actually used no logic at all when she asked Eileen to make that potion, she just closed her mind to what she didn't want to hear or acknowledge.
I wonder what would have happened if Dumbledore had died of the curse (or whatever it was) that blackened his hand before that night. Would Severus be absolved of the vow? Would Draco be absolved of his task because the supposed victim was already dead?

Author's Response: You're right. Camilla was extremely distraught and irrational when she gave him the potion. She was desperate and had to try something to try to save him. Those are interesting thoughts. I'm guessing if Dumbledore had died of natural causes, Snape would have no longer been bound by the vow. There's an idea for an AU fic! Thanks for the review! : )

I'm glad to finally get to the gist of things and have explanations for what's going on and why. I can accept everything except for her logic for giving him the amnesia potion. From everything we know about 'He Who I Find Most Tiresome' it wouldn't matter if he couldn't remember the vow and what he had to do if Draco failed, Severus would have to step in and kill Dumbledore. If he didn't do it because he had no memory of the unbroken vow he would still die, either automatically because he broke the vow or if 'HW' AK'ed him. He would literally be a dead man walking.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review. I know it was a long time coming, but yes, you finally got some answers. And I think you will see in the next chapter about why she gave him the potion.

Great progression of the story, it is very beliievable. now if only snape will listen to reason.

Author's Response: Thank you! Snape's stubborn and has been betrayed. It won't be easy for him to forgive her, if he ever does...

The best part of this chapter for me was the first section where Camilla first goes to the kitchen and cannot sleep. After the past three chapters, this one is interesting because it focuses almost solely on Camilla. You've taken your time with developing her, which is good because it's left the reader (me!) in suspense. Here, you show us her former job and how she met Snape. This story could have gone horribly wrong because, frankly, IC Snape is just not the marrying type. However, you've crafted Camilla as someone strong, smart, and sassy, and if anyone can handle being married to Snape, I think she could.

Also, I liked how this chapter focused more on the character's thoughts for each other than on the action of the plot. Both of them seem equally nerveous to be around each other, but you've shown they each have an attraction for each other. Why DID Camilla marry Snape? I'm sure that'll get answered, but I find myself asking that question more and more as the story continues because you've had Snape ask that question to himself. Very good! I'm really enjoying this story.

Author's Response: Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed review! I know that Snape married hard to wrap the brain around. But you're right, Camilla is a strong woman and is patient enough to put up with all his snark and stubbornness. There will be more flashbacks in which I show how their romance developed and how they ended up married. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I look forward to hearing more. : )

I can see why it was so difficult, and now both of your main characters have painted themselves into corners that it will be difficult to get out of. I look forward to the remainder of your story. Thanks!

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, it was difficult to write, yet fun at the same time. Now things really get interesting for these two. As if they weren't already. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! : )
