Ooooo!! This one looks great! Snape being a total jerk, and Hermione having a crush on him. Of course he's being such a jerk to her that I'm surprized that she has'nt thrown something in anger at him.
I can't understand why Snape treats her the way he does, in class, when she's such a gifted student.
Perhaps because she'a gryffindor...

Author's Response: I am sorry and ashamed to report that chapter twenty is not coming along quite as well as I had hoped. Besides the cosmos of fate deciding to give my life a nasty little spin for the past few weeks, this chapter has been proving very difficult to navigate. I have about 1,500 words so far (3 and 1/2 pages) -- so still a ways to go yet. I'm sorry for the wait, and thanks so much for hanging in there! :)

OK, this is rather funny. On the 19th of October 2007 I was reading my first fanfiction ever which happened to be this one. I had only read HP and the HBP and HP and the DH at that moment. Guess what, the world of Harry Potter "engulfed" me so rapidly that I only two months later I am writing a HP fanfic myself (I've only written original work until now). I'm already 60 pages through it and since you are author of the first fanfic I ever read, I was wondering if you would make me the honor of being the first to read it and review it? If you like it I might think about posting it. So, what do you say?

Author's Response: i would love to let you guys know! i revise so often, and a lot of times, i change a good chunk of what has already been posted. do you know of any way where i can actually let people know? thanks for the suggestion. and OH, i just posted a newly revised chapter 15 :D :D after looking it over, i really wasn't happy with Snape's reaction, so i tweaked a whole bunch of lines, and i think it flows a little better now--as well as keeping IC. once again, thanks for reading!
