Good characterization of Scorpius. It must have taken alot of willpower to not introduce him early. It looks as though you are showing a child who hides some of his hurts under smirks.

It seems odd that both Albus and Scorpius got detentions but Chang did at least appear to be understanding.

I am beginning to get hooked on the story. It was a little difficult keeping track of the characters. Now that I can keep Tristan distinct from Xander, I can pick up some threads of a mystery.

I'm a big fan of your stories! But the only thing I've really noticed is like, some repetitivness (i spelled that wrong or somethingXD) with some of your words. Otherwise I love it, and it may just be me being too nitpicky. XD

Well written, but I would have liked to see Albus and maybe Rose sorted into a different House other than just Gryffindor. Ah well, that's your decision. It was truly a good chapter. I wouldn't be reading it if it wasn't good. On to the next chapter.

Author's Response: I considered it - though, from the little we were shown of Albus in the Epilogue, he didn't seem like a Slytherin, so, for me, he was always going to be a Gryffindor. I perhaps could have made Rose a Ravenclaw (or at times - considering her disposition - a Slytherin) but for plotting purposes, it's more useful to have them all in the same House. Hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the story! Thanks for the review!

I love this story! I only just discovered it but it's beautifully done. Both Tristan and Effie are written very well. They have the perfect combination of kindness and mysteriousness that can be so hard to describe, but you pulled it off very well. The mysterious sides to each of them are definitely there and leave me desperate for more information, but you've balanced it well enough that I can't decide whether I trust them or not! I love your Albus, Rose, James, and Persephone, hate your Scorpius (in a good way! Haha), and am excited to learn more about everyone and everything! Well done and keep it up!

Haha, Scorpius, in this story, is a character I love to hate. You'll see, as the story progresses, that he's always on the verge of nearly being nice but then remembers himself in time to be nasty.
