beautiful. And I think it is really important that there was a focus on Harry and Hermione. I think their friendship is sometimes thrown over in favor of fluffy pieces about their romantic lives. While I enjoy the fluff immensely I appreciate that they are dynamic characters with relationships to non-Weasleys.

I loved the refrain of "never discussed". That seems right for this. They wouldn't talk about it, just continue their ritual each year in silence and friendship.

If I keep reviewing your work you'll probably start to consider me some kind of stalker but I think this needs to be said: you understand each of J.K. Rowling's characters so well that everything you write just seems to fit in perfectly in the HP world. You understand the flaws and the nuances in every character and you use that, which I think is a gift, to produce these wonderful fanfics. This is beautiful, but may be it would read better with more dialogues and less summary (Harry remembering what Ginny said, what Teddy said...you do great dialogues, so you should include them) I think the bit about Teddy and Harry meeting the Potters deserve a separate story.

The Harry and Teddy might get its own story at some point. It's one of those where I want to write it but have fifty other things I want to write as well. Anyway, glad you liked it!

Awesome! Teddy was just the sweetest thing and I love how his hair was changing colours! When he was talking to Lily and James, I was torn between laughing at how adorable he is or crying over both James and Lily and Lupin and Tonks. I love how Harry and Teddy bond over something so tragic and how Harry tells him about how Lupin and Tonks died to protect him. Totally adorable and incredably well written :)

Oh wow, that was very sweet, though very sad. Some lines were particularly heart-breaking, such as Teddy's, why only his parents were in the ground. You did a great job with the Hermione/Harry friendship as well, showing the reliability they had on each other.

Fantastic bittersweet piece overall, though I was a bit confused with the last two paragraphs. My assumption is that Harry took Ginny, but wouldn't they still see Hermione if they visited the house? Unless they just went to the graveyard that is. Or unless I'm completely wrong and Harry was somewhere else?

Anyway, I really think you nailed Harry, and all of the relationships you showed in this. Great job :)

I can see why you were confused though. Sorry for not making it clear. Harry is my writing nemesis so I'm glad you think he was in character :)

Very nice story! You're right, that moment that Harry and Hermione shared when he visited his parents' graves for the first time was incredibly tender, and really quite special, I can understand him not wanting to share that with anyone else, at least not at first. Good old Teddy, he barely made it into the books, but he's a great character in the fandom, particularly when it comes to getting Harry to open up!
