I think Severus' story was the saddest one in the whole Harry Potter series. With this as background, you have to wonder if there was an even stronger reason for Narcissa to lie to Voldemort about Harry being dead.

For a moment there I thought Lily was feeling mild effects of the love potion. I'm still not sure if she was or wasn't. I don't know if Narcissa should've been standing there watching and listening to Severus and Lily. It seems she learned something--what love really looks like. She'll have a measuring stick for when she questions whether she's in love or not.

Narcissa sure became attracted to Severus in a short time. I think they're very cute together. She seems to be playing hard to get by controlling the time when she will see him. I think he just goes on with his life and lets her use him whenever she wants. That's kind of a comfortable position.
