The dads were funny but I still like the mums. They seemed to accept reality and move on to more important issues--Astoria with humor and trying to make the young couple comfortable and Hermione with a sense of planning.

Author's Response: I always thought Hermione would be more able to deal with and move on from what happened during the war--maybe partly because Ron lost so much more than she did. The same would make sense for Draco and Astoria, I think. I think Ron and Draco would have had some regrets that Astoria and Hermione might not.

I read this again to refresh my memory. I really liked the fact that you had Scorpius take Muggle chemistry classes to add to his Potions knowledge. I loved it when you had him pull out parchment and quill to diagram the "recipe."

When the babies get here there will be no problems from the grand parents. They will expand all their energy on who gets to baby sit. Grandchildren are great (except they wreck the place) and you get to give them back when you are knackeresd.

That was great. I loved how you portrayed the Malfoys, especially Mrs. Malfoy and her 'always wanting grandchildren'. Hermione was great too with her investigative questions about the Potion. Ron and Draco were good but the Mums were outstanding.

Author's Response: Thank you! I had such fun writing those particular scenes. I've read a lot of Scorpius/Rose fics, and I always want to like Astoria, so when I was writing my own, I tried to make her a fun character. I think who Draco marries would say a lot about whether he's changed over the years.
