I like this story because it shows the different ways that three characters from the Potter world have chosen to deal with the aftereffects of the Second War, many years later. Interestingly, all three characters chose females to comfort them. The two females who chose other women as their comfort source , turned to lesbianism while Harry seemed to want to protect his wife and daughter rather than seek physical relief from the effects of the War. I'm not saying one way is better than the other, but as the author asks at the end of this one-shot, what does it matter? I'd like to add to that, as long as it works. I must say this story made me think.

I liked it. A lot.

I love the concept of three stories showing three different characters dealing with the after-effects of the war. One of them can deal with it only with a friend, one seems to be going PTSD and one seems to be trying to romanticize it. They are all dealing with it - nineteen years later or more. Your story shows what happens after the movie- after the climatic action sequence, and that is where its beauty lies.

I also really appreciated how you wrote the three different POVs. We have never been seen Lavender's POV in the series but your confidence in your writing and your skill (of course) did not let us doubt, even for a second, that they were Lavender's thoughts.

I like your writing style a lot too. You didn't say that things were as they were directly. You implied them. Just how thoughts are and POVs should be.

Great story! I would love to read more work by you, fan fiction and otherwise.
