I couldn't see Severus playing in the snow, making a snowman or snow angel. I'll bet there were some babies who had a lot of tears. My oldest daughter used to cry way more than the other two. but of course she's the first one and probably had a lot to cry about. I started thinking about memory potions. I don't know if I'd want to forget even my traumatic memories. How would we build up strength of character or learn from our history. But I guess every person has the right to decide themselves whether to use a memory loss potion or not.

Author's Response: Neither could I, which was why he won the race and avoided the dreaded snow man making, and she made the snow angel he didn't even care to look at. That he went on a walk and went skating is enough. Hehheh about your older daughter having a lot to cry about. Too bad no one was there to offer you money for them. It could have started a college fund. :D

Geez, I just filled this out and my computer ate it. So here I go again. I felt all shivery thinking of Severus' and how he could probably ravish someone with his voice alone. Their run through the forest reminds me of something I did when I was much younger except there wasn't exactly a forest and there was no fairy circle. I don't know I'm reminded of that time. I guess the end result was the same:P The musicians sound like a lot of fun. I could get into drinking with them and the live music in that setting must have been amazing.

Author's Response: You and Piper and the band would get along like peas and carrots, or maybe whiskey and a splash of water, just enough to take the edge off, heh.

So Hades hasn't met Aphrodite yet? Somehow I think Marina will approve. Your writing is so descriptive and vivid that I felt like melting thinking of a handsome "vampire" clutching me in a semi-dark hallway. The party sounded like it was to die for. It's like Lorelei and Severus have an attraction to each other that only they know about and it's so strong that they can locate each other.

Author's Response: I think it's more that he skulked around waiting for her to go somewhere alone before he showed himself. He's not the meet the parents type. :D

I think if someone used a cheesy chat-up line with me that I would dissolve into hysterical giggles. I don't think I use cheesy chat- up lines except with a certain someone, trying to draw attention to a previous conversation to show I remember what we last talked about. I could take lessons from Lorelei.

Author's Response: Lorelei wasn't trying to use a cheesy chat up line, it just sounded like it. If you use cheesy lines, remember that he thinks you're funny and have attractive self-confidence. ;)

I was literally sighing when I read this chapter. You know, like the girls from Beauxbatons when they entered the Great Hall in GOF. This is such an unusual act for Severus but you are such a skillful writer that you make it sound like romancing women is a common activity for Snape. I'm sure i will have sweet dreams tonight.

Author's Response: I was hoping to show by all his denials and his awkwardness, and watching her carefully for her response when he did give in that he doesn't romance women. Maybe that will come across better next chapter, when they're dry, lol.

"I have to see a Severus about a Snape.". Very funny. I didn't know Lorelei was such a lightweight. Even kids drink butterbear. That actually sounds good. I think Severus just wanted to hear her song. He's too funny with not listening to his voice of reason. I've never seen a guy protest so much and still go back for more.

Author's Response: Yup, Sirens have less alcohol tolerance than school kids. At least her tipsiness got her an escort back to the castle. Lots can happen between the pub and the school. :D

I think this is one of those situations where Severus is protesting too much. If only she wasn't so attractive. If only she weren't attracted to him. I love those two sentences. This is where he's in denial that he's attracted to her. He seems to be arguing with himself. I also love it when Lorelei just smiles and walks away from him. She knows what's really going on.

Author's Response: Exactly! He's experienced heartache and tragedy, but he's had years to learn to live with the pain, and he's a man still in his twenties. He doesn't suffer from low testosterone. :D The tricky part is allowing himself to have something good in his life.

When I started reading fan fiction I swore I would review everything I read. The only time I've broken that promise is if I've read something before or it's slightly blue and I don't want to admit I read it:D I think I'd be upset with Severus if he had hidden himself and was watching me from the back of the classroom. Although he probably thought Lorelei would get upset and she probably annoyed him most by acting as if that were nothing.

Author's Response: LOL at not reviewing when you don't want to admit you've read something blue. I prefer implied intimacy so I should have no worries, heh. Severus was on the offensive so fast that she was thinking "He's trying to get me sacked" instead of "what did he think he was doing, watching me without my permission!" :D

My burning question is why are the other professors called by their last names and Lorelei is called Professor Lorelei? That suggests a difference in status. I love that Lorelei sings drinking songs with Peeves. Somehow I can almost hear them. It's almost like Snape has a spell over Lorelei;. She seems very attracted to him already. Snape, on the other hand, seems to be a bit nosy. I wonder if I need gook. Does it help with pain? Please update soon. I love this story too much already.

Author's Response: Now that I think about it, teaching the 1st - 3rd yrs classes for two professors makes her more of an assistant professor on staff. That's not why she's just Lorelei, and Snape asks about that in the next chapter (hopefully tomorrow! ;). I wish we had Urgent Unguent after derby practice. Thanks for making my day sunnier with your review!

I like the style. Snape is doomed!

Author's Response: Snape wouldn't agree with you right now, but that's the fun, watching a supposedly immovable object deal with an irresistible force. Thanks for liking the style! :)

I love it already. Can't wait for the next chapter. I love Lorelei's goblin friend. Who knew he could dispense emergency medical care. It sounds like he needs to take care of his friend often. I admire Snape for realizing he's a malevolent bat, even if it's a sarcastic realization. I really can't wait for this story to develop. I hope Severus gives up the heavy or binge drinking. I think he'd maybe be a little happier. Maybe if his wish comes true he won't have to drink to forget.

Author's Response: I think you need a dual award: Most Prolific Reviewer on MNFF and Most Encouraging Reviewer. Thanks so much for reading the story! The next chapter should post soon, and I'm glad you like her friend Piper. You'll see him again. :)
