Rowling's writing is her genius at creating and developing great characters, especially Severus Snape, whom I especially consider to be one of the great characters of all English literature. So I'm trying my best to reflect this in my own efforts to tell a story within the universe she created.

This looks like it will be an interesting story. Her drawings sound interesting. I thought I read that Sylvester is related to Severus but I can't find it now. Anyway, I am eagerly awaiting your next update.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! Yes, in my summary I note that Sylvester is very closely related to Severus indeed. This first chapter is written from Sylvester's perspective, and I have included many clues to the fact that Sylvester's life has already been affected by the magical world in many ways which he is just in the process of discovering. And Rosie's drawings also give clues to her inner connection to the world of magic, which she will soon discover as the story unfolds.
