Summary: James Potter was a quidditch star, popular, and had great hair. Of course, he loved Lily Evans, and never gave up on her. But remember what Ginny said in the 6th book? She never gave up on Harry, but she still dated other boys. Well, James did the same thing. This is a fic about what went on while he was waiting around for Lily. A/N: Oh, and don’t think, from the title, that I’m one of the girls that obsesses over Jesse McCartney. The title IS the name of one of his songs, but that’s because it seemed to make sense. He was cool, for a short while, before every radio station overplayed his songs. And now that he’s the king of pop, he’s down there with Hillary Duff and all of the other overplayed pop-stars I dislike.
