Although this is a part of the series having to do with The Secret Papers of Regulus Black, careful readers may have noted that in that story, Snape tells Harry (under Veritaserum) that he did not know what “the plan” was, nor that he would have to kill Dumbledore. I much prefer the version in this story than that one. It is up to you to decide whether this is an inconsistency of the author or simply the ability of Snape to use Occlumency to counteract the potion.
