She’s got the kind of eyes
That will burn into your memory.
She’s got a smile that makes me melt
When she looks at me.
She’s got the kind of voice
That echoes in your head.
I remember everything
That she’s ever said.
Her laugh is wonderful;
It’s gentle, soft and kind.
Even when we’re far apart,
She’s not far from my mind.
Whenever she’s around,
Everything is fine.
But I know in my heart,
She never will be mine.
She was once like a sister,
She loves me like a brother.
But now I think
We were meant for each other.
We’ve always been together,
Never not been friends.
I want to hold her forever,
Or just until this world ends.
But I don’t think she sees
How much she makes me shine.
She is everything I need,
But she’ll never just be mine.
