First stab at the NexGen kids. (Well, truthfully, it's not the first but the first that's posted. I'm still not sure about that one.) For my purposes, house rivalry has lessened over the years. Also, I wasn't sure if the term firecall was canon or not but I just meant the floo call thing. Anyhoo, it sort of starts in the middle but everything should be clear by the end. Unfortunately, this story has not been beta'd as my usual one has disappeared. I did the best I could but any and all mistakes are my fault and mine alone, especially in regards to chess.
