Summary: A few days before the Battle of Hogwarts, Voldemort takes a quick breather from Harry-hunting to reflect on his rise, downfall and resurrection as the worst Dark Lord in history.

My Favourite Things

Terrorising the British population,

scheming and planning for world domination,

seeing the fear that my very name brings,

these are a few of my favourite things.

Pure-blood extremists and dreaded Dementors,

giants and werewolves and other tormentors

coming together as my underlings,

these are a few of my favourite things.

Evil black diaries and Slytherin lockets,

gold cups so small they can fit in my pockets,

Ravenclaw diadems, Peverell rings,

these are a few of my favourite things.

When the Potter

babe survived my

deadly Killing Curse,

when half-life consumed me I knew I'd be back

and that I would be much worse!

Hiding in forests and losing my features,

having to dwell inside very small creatures,

helpless to vent all my vengeful yearnings,

don’t top the list of my favourite things.

Rebirth with the aid of Wormtail and Barty,

Potter’s dismay at my welcome back party!

Snape and Nagini and Harry’s mood swings,

these are a few of my favourite things.

Dumbledore’s death and society’s struggles,

torturing Mudbloods and murdering Muggles,

soaring through skies like a bird with no wings,

these are a few of my favourite things.

When I have the

Elder Wand I'll

kill the Potter boy!

Soon Lord Voldemort will be reigning supreme

and then I will feel sheer joy!
