Story Notes: This poem was inspired by Dumbledore's Farewell composed by Nicholas Hooper for the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I have also taken inspiration from the scene in which the track is played.

The summary and chapter title is an excerpt from Flight of the Prince in the novel Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince written by, as we all should know, J.K. Rowling.
