This poem was written for the Copycat Challenge in Poetry, Anyone?, in which it won second place. The challenge asked us to imitate a favorite poet's style. I chose to imitate Alfred, Lord Tennyson's "The Lady of Shalott", and here is the result, although a few verses have been added since the challenge.
