Eighteen. Uni student. Nerd. Avid reader. Cheap drunk. Reckless & impulsive. Caffeine addict. Perfectionistic. Outspoken. Hyperactive. Obsessive. Easily amused. Fan of emo, post-hardcore, rock, industrial and whatever else I take a fancy to on any given day. This can mean anything from cheesy pop music to death metal.

Summary: “Guilt brings people together. It’s a takes one to know one type thing.”

James Potter has always been a spoiled, arrogant, lazy show-off. When he enters his final year at Hogwarts School, he’s Head Boy . . . and he’s still a spoiled, arrogant, lazy, show-off. But because of that terrible summer, he’s also guilt-ridden.

Lily Evans has always been a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. When she begins her last year at Hogwarts, she’s Head Girl . . . and still a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. But the first night back — and the murder that takes the entire school by surprise — leave her guilt-ridden as well.

All My Life by Secret

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: When Lily and James are both awarded the Head Boy and Head Girl position, they are forced to get along for the sake of their school. Unfortunately, neither Lily nor James are willing to let their guard down. What results is a story that is so passionately tumultuous, neither one of them ever realizes that they have not only crossed the thin line between love and hate...but they are now dancing in its depths.

As the entire magical world battles the oncoming threat of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, Lily and James will have to learn that the only way to defeat the darkness is to find the light...in themselves.

What Mulciber Did to Mary Macdonald by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: "Do you know what he tried to do to Mary Macdonald the other day?"

"That was nothing," said Snape. "It was a laugh, that's all --"

"It was Dark Magic, and if you think that's funny --" **

Two versions of the same incident. But what did Mulciber actually do to Mary Macdonald that could be viewed in two different ways, and why was Severus Snape so keen to defend Mulciber?

** The words at the beginning of this summary are taken directly from The Prince's Tale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. I doubt that surprises anyone.

Thank you very much to Natalie (hestiajones) for beta'ing this fic for me.

The Bacchus Book by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: On the morning of Christmas Day, 2000, Hermione Granger (soon-to-be-Weasley) wakes up from a delightful dream to find herself in a bathroom at Grimmauld Place.

As various Weasleys queue up to tell her all about her behaviour the night before at Aunt Muriel's birthday party, Hermione is in a state of shock.

She knows she didn't drink anything stronger than Butterbeer. So why was she wearing a toga and teaching everyone how to perform Greek dancing?

And what, in the name of Merlin, was she doing with George?

This is Equinox Chick and this is my entry for the extra credit challenge 'In Vino Veritas' for the Winter Snows 09 competition over at the MNFF beta boards.

Thank you to Apurva for beta'ing this tale in time. Thanks also to various people on AIM for telling me to get on with this (Jess, Natalie, Hannah, Russia, Kara, BB)

Disclaimer: I'm not JK Rowling. She would never have written anything quite so daft.

Claimer: I have disgraced myself wearing a toga before now.

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: It is April 1976, and Minerva McGonagall sits in her office, arranging biscuits on a plate. She knows she faces a stormy afternoon because today is the day she has to advise her four most troublesome students on their future. They call themselves the Marauders; they think they want the same thing, but Minerva knows that the differences between them will not work in everyone's favour. And so, she steels herself for a very difficult day.

This is Equinox Chick submitting her final for the MWPP class.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I doubt that shocks you.

This story is very much a prequel to The Lions of Gryffindor, but either can be read without knowledge of the other.

In shock at the nomination for a 2009 QSQ award.

Eggs and Soldiers by SiriuslyMental

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: No one could believe Oswel would be mental enough to go on an actual killing spree. No one could believe five people had died on one day. They're all busy sobbing and blaming themselves, but I'm clever enough to know it's Oswel's fault. It's Oswel's fault, and I don't care.

A Few Moments Granted by cor_leonis

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Before Voldemort ripped them apart and banished their friendship to be something merely relived through pensieve, Sirius and James had shared a special bond. And sometimes, that sort of bond runs deeper than it seems. SB/JP slash

The Prongs Complex by Cherry and Phoenix Feather

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: James finally asks Lily out. The problem is, he chose a roundabout way of getting to her. Plus, he stands a high risk of breaking his neck in the process. Told from Remus Lupin's POV. Rated 3rd-5th years for slight language and mild innuendo on James's part. One-shot.

A/N: Quick note to all: I am sorry, but there are no plans for a sequel for PC. I hate to disappoint you all, but I feel that the story is better standing alone, leaving the rest to your imaginations.
