Just some basic info...

hair: golden brown

eyes: green-brown

I'm just a girl who would like to become a writer or world famous clarinetist. Not too ambitious eh?

I drive a 1979 volvo.

Anyone interested in making banners or betaing future stories or whatever e-mail me at norahpotter@gmail.com

I love everything about Harry Potter and Jo's wonderful way with words.

TWHHT is not my first fan fic, however it is the first I've posted on this site AND the first J/L fic I've written. I really like this genre even if there are many authors. I hope that TWHHT comes across as a very different sort of l/j fic--that's what I'm aiming for.

My lovely beta is Ravynwood. Without her, I would be in serious trouble!

I'd like to leave you with a writer's blessing:

"May your pens be ever full of ink, jealous eyes safely distant, your mind filled with inspiration, and your readers amazed."

Who is your Jane Austen hero?

Your hero is Fitzwilliam Darcy! As gentleman, he is a man of judgement, sense and education. His tall figure, handsome features and mien underline his noble character. Because of his sometimes serious and brooding manner, Mr Darcy is ill-qualified to recommend himself to others, but has nevertheless a gentle, generous and good-natured temper. His severest fault is his unforgiving attitude to the vices and follies of others and pride in his own judgement. Being united with the woman he loves, Mr Darcy will love violently.Take this quiz!

Power The Dark Lord Knows Not by PatronyBologna

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Post OotP:

His vision blurred by blood and the lack of glasses he willed himself to his desk grabbing for his quill, ink, and parchment. Unable to stand, he slumped back down to the floor. Hands shaking wildly, he managed to write one word.

The wait is over...

“You know what they say, keep your friends close and your enemies even closer.” Ron turned the page for Hermione and scanned the list of cruel and unusual jinxes and spells that he thought were a shoo-in for an unforgivable.

Too Sweet to Remember by Canadian Confessional

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Meet James Potter, a clever, somewhat mischievous, popular student at Hogwarts. He takes every situation in stride and has everything under control, except one: Lily Evans, an amazingly beautiful and intelligent individual. He loves her more than anything, but she despises him more than anything, and a not-so-impressive run-in late at night with her leaves James thinking that chasing after Lily might be hopeless. Then, a series of events happen in James' life, which is topped off by an unexpected visitor that makes his sixth year too sweet to remember.

Meant To Be by chloish

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: "What can I say?" James shrugged his shoulders. "We are just obviously,"

"Completely,"

"Irrefutably,"

"Logically,"

"Undeniably,"

"Unfortunately,"

James laughed, "Meant to be."

Lily Evans and James Potter share absolutely nothing in common, not even their feelings for each other. Lily, perceived as a ‘model student,’ detests the handsome, popular, Quidditch star James, who she thinks to be something of a git. James, on the contrary, has been infatuated with Lily for years, and has let her and the whole school know it.

As time progresses into Voldemort’s ‘reign of terror,’ the two have to learn to trust, tolerate, and love each other.

Please note, this story is incomplete, and will likely remain so for a long time. I apologize!

James and Lily: Hate and Love: Life and Death by immortal_evil

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

It is ambitious Lily Evans' 7th and final year at Hogwarts. She is very excited about being one step closer to becoming an Auror and thrilled about being back to school altogether.

But there is one little annoyance: the Marauders. Specificially arrogant James Potter. He has been pestering her to go out with him, but she has coldly denied his wishes. She thinks this year will be no different to the past six school years.

But life is full of mistakes.

..::~!~::..

"Just one minute.” Lily noticed footsteps heading in her direction. She saw a hand reach from between the screens and drop a flower onto her bedside table.

“Mr. Potter! Return to your dormitory immediately!”

“Alright, alright…” The hand disappeared.

Once Lily was sure that no one was in the wing, he lifted her head and saw what flower Potter had dropped.

Lily stuffed her head in her pillow and screamed a muffled scream that no one could hear.

Through it all, Lily discovers the truth about the Marauders, the affable troublemakers who hide behind smokescreens but still glitter in shattered light. They aren't the glorious, graceful men they are often perceived as, but stumbling, awkward boys who are still trying to find their way out of darkness.
