I absolutely LOVE the Harry Potter Series and basically love to read in general.(My first word was book) My fics so far are depressing poetry but I am actually a generally happy person. I am actually sometimes a little too perky considering I am a cheerleader. I love to write poetry but not so much read it unless you count poetic songs. I also love to dance and have been taking ballet lessons since I was three. I love any piece of literature that draws emotion, that includes making me sob my eyes out and or fall in love with half of the characters. I am also a passionate Catholic and am active with my youth group. Some fics may potentially get preachy but we'll see.

Love and Order by Gmariam

Summary: When impulsive new Auror Alice Hamilton is partnered with the more serious and experienced Frank Longbottom, neither is quite sure what to expect. They have a history, after all, and a different way of approaching the job. The Fourth Crimson Sky by HoneyLake

Summary: James was vaguely aware that the sky outside his window produced a bright crimson. He could have thought of blood. He could have thought of the fate right before him. His last thought, at the end, was of Lily's smile.

Wind's Nocturne by Acacia Carter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: There is magic the likes of which humans can barely remember and seldom experience. There is, however, a handful of men privileged enough to experience a part of it: the Dryad's Consorts.

Written for the last third of Madame Alex's Character Triathalon!

Many thanks to Maple for the beta; I couldn't see myself sending this one to anyone else.

Anything you recognise is JKR's. Anything you don't recognise is possibly mine, but probably JKR's.

Wood-nymphs, more commonly known as Dryads, are first and last mentioned in the Potterverse by Fleur in Goblet of Fire. In Greek mythology, these cunning magical creatures are entirely female, and must capture and seduce human men in order to bear daughters and heirs to their forests. In other works of literature they are described as bold and highly territorial, with voracious, er, "appetite" for particular intimate activities. So, basically a shy Herbologist's every fantasy...

Summary:
Yew and Holly rise to meet,

Crimson fruits and evergreen.

Written for the Random Song Title challenge at Poetry Anyone (?). 2 Trees is a song by Foals, and it has nothing to do with the poem apart from the title. I am not J.K.Rowling.

Summary: Remus Lupin as rendered in terms of a meagre lunar chart.

Written for The Sharp Challenge at Poetry Anyone (?).

Kickin' It at the Top by Soap

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: A Marauder-era fic - this story takes a look at all the characters we've come to love (and hate), as well as an OC or two thrown in for good measure. Follow the Marauders through seven years at Hogwart's, with appearances from the infamous Black sisters, Lucius Malfoy, Regulus Black, and of course the one and only Severus Snape.

There are a bunch of pairings in this story (although romance is not necessarily the central theme) to include James/Lily, Lucius/Narcissa, a splash of Lucius/Bella and unrequited Snape/Lily, and finally, plenty of Sirius/OC. Enjoy!

Over 120,000 reads! Wow! Thanks everyone!

Cette Nuit by clabbert2101

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A rallying cry for the Order. I'd like to think that Tonks and Lupin stood in the front of the Great Hall before the final battle, and took turns giving this speech.

Dear Lily by chloish

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

Messrs. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs -- These names are known by every person in Hogwarts. These names, and an envelope with a scarlet wax seal bearing the letters: MWPP.

The teachers dread it, the students revel in it...but who are these 'Marauders,' as they are called? That's just it. Nobody knows. Most every prank Hogwarts sees is at the hands of these mysterious Marauders, and the perpetrators always walk free. They could never be caught. You can’t catch phantoms.

Lily Evans is just as curious as the next student as to who these Marauders are, but her curiosity is transformed into a hungry need, when she receives a letter herself from a certain Mr. Prongs. [This story is slightly AU, but more on that in the author's note at the end.]
